I change irons every couple of years but some some reason have never hit Taylor irons, boy was I missing the boat. these LCG are the sweetest irons I have ever hit, with a nice controlled swing these irons are long and high. The short irons land soft, and the long irons get airborne quickly and carry very well. I was ready to spend 600 dollars on Ping I3s, but I think I got just as much club for half the price! It is amazing because these clubs were 600 dollars 3 years ago!

I hit my buddies LCGs a few weeks ago when I was on vacation and I was shocked at how high and long my ball flight was, a smooth wedge was going about 120 flying high and landing soft, the 7,8,9 were the same, I always have struggled with a 3 iron but with these clubs I nailed it about 215, so I saw them on sale and went right out and bought a set, it took me about 3 rounds to dial in the yardage difference from my Pings, but now I have discarded my 7 wood which I had come to be too reliant on because I did not trust my 3 and 4 iron, for this price these are a STEAL!!! I would highly recommend these, I have hit Pings for over 15 years, the ball flight and length does not compare to the LCGs! Save your cash, you won`t find a more solid iron no matter what you pay!

I just happened to be bored and stopped at Dick's to window shop when I found the LCG's for $299!!! I couldn't help myself and I've never made a better impulsed decision in my life. My long irons have never really soared high like I wanted, but the LCG's give me the forgiveness, height, and oh yes nice length with all the irons. It took me a month to adjust to the increased distances I was hitting them. I used to hit my PW 110-120yds. Now I'm hitting my PW 120-135yds. These are so smooth that if you let the shaft and clubhead work with you, you'll hit higher and farther. I can work these both ways as need be, and I can even hit knock downs. I love these clubs!!! I'm knocking on the door for the 70s

I thought a little bit about having the lie flattened a degree or two, but I've since figured out my swing. I called TM and they said they would do it at their factory at no charge. All I had to do was pay for shipping.

These clubs are a nice addition to anyones bag. I play at least 4 times a week, and these clubs pull it off for me. They are very forgiving, and as long as your mechanics are right, this club can do the rest. The low center of gravity is a real plus, and the club gives you confidence when you look at it. I was going to purchase the new Titleist 990-B irons, but i think i will stick with my irons cause i now have the confidence that i have been looking for.

Great clubs. I really like the feel and extra distance they give me. I think they are a great value. Thank you Taylor Made for dropping the prices! I also got the Attack wedge and like the spin I get from it. The weight is also great! A little heavier is what I was looking for. Great clubs

Sold it after 3 month from purchase. Trajectory too high. Harsh feel compared to forged. Only thing good is it is easy to hit.

When I tried these clubs out at the store, I was hitting really well with them, but the range was a different story. The sweetspot is so small, and any off-center connection will leave your hands stinging (not to mention the complete loss of distance and accuracy). Before I had even used them for a day I returned them, and bought a Classic: The Wilson 8802 Putter, which I recommend to everyone. Since the price has come down, they are now about at the price they are actually worth.

Customer Service

I'm not sure about Taylor Made, but I bought these clubs from Washington Golf Center, and they were so nice there. Even after I had played with the clubs once, they gladly accepted them, and even repaid me with cash.

i love these clubs. i am a baseball player so my swing is naturally flat. this makes me catch a lot of balls thin. with the lcg irons, the extra weight at the bottom of the clubhead helps me get the ball into the air better.
