TaylorMade Rescue Dual Irons

TaylorMade Rescue Dual Irons

DESCRIPTION

Dual TLC ports, widely spaced, contribute to an MOI that's 15 to 20% higher than the Rescue Mid for increased forgiveness on mis-hits. T-shaped sole promotes increased clubhead stability at address and reduced drag at impact, promoting greater accuracy and distance. Low CG makes the Rescue Dual dramatically easier to launch than a long-iron, equaling consistently higher, longer shots.

Great club. Got rid of my 3 iron and 5 wood. put my 60* back in the bag. Hits longer with better control. Can use it for chipping and punch-outs as well. (not that I'm ever in the woods)

Hey!

This is my first hybrid I have tryed and I brought it off Ebay,

The weights are set up for a draw but I usually hit a slice for some reason the ball still goes a good distance 175yards buy its not straight.

Im going back to my long irons as I always hit them dead straight but were looking for more distance.

On a good swing it will go far....

But I got 2 words for ya!!!!

HYBRIDS SUCK!!!!!!!!

I needed a solid hybrid and hit the new Burner and Dual on the simulator. The Burner was ok but with the dual 4 hybrid I consistently carried 185 with overall length of 201!!! I usually dont hit clubs well inside but WOW was this baby easy to hit and hot.

Customer Service

Taylor Made is great. Ive emailed their company about my irons and woods and they are very helpful.

I can safely say that i have tried EVERY hybrid on the market and this one is the best. I spent the majority of the season with a Nickent 3dx dc in my bag and while this is also a good club i found myself still spraying it left and right more often than i do my irons and when i switched to TM irons i decided to give the resue dual a try since it always felt good when i swung it at the store. The first day out at the range i went home and removed my 3 iron and 5 wood and have no plans to carry either of them anymore. This club does the job of both only better because my bad stock shot with my 3 iron is a weak slice and even from the faiway i never got good consistency with my 5 wood but with this rescue dual i now have a club that is great off the fairway, from the rough or off the tee and i can now add my lob wedge back in my set. Like i said, i have tried every hybrid on the market and while they all play pretty similar none have offered the consistency that i immediately found with this club. Even a really bad miss hit goes straight just not very far and this club can accomedate almost any type of swing and still get up easily and fly straight. You just have to remember to swing it like an iron and the shape of the club offers you that reminder as well. All in all i would say that this is my new favorite club and im thinking about picking up the #2 and retiring my 3 wood.

Got this club with a purchase of R7. I was so reluctant to give up my 3 iron but I said what the heck, I got nothing to loose. Boy did I gain a lot. This is my go to club for anything for as second shot. This club is amazingly forgiving. Ball always flies from any lie and always straight, just make sure you point it the right direction and it always goes there, miss hits still goes straight only thing you will loose is distance. Ball flies high and lands soft too. Definitely a keeper. I don't see why I would go back to my 3 iron.

Great club. Doesn't seem to set up as closed as the rescue mid I've played for 2 years. This improves workability and the duck hook which was the stock bad shot with the rescue mid happens much less. Great mid/high ball flight but you can still hit it low if you want to. Like the rescue mid it seems to explode off the face when you hit it on the screws. This and the Tour Edge exotics are the most consistent hybrids I've played but this club is better from ropey lies and rough.
