I bought these irons off Ebay about 3 months ago. I was hacking at around 110 before I got these irons. After getting them fitted for my height (6'5), I have turned into a solid ballstriker. The ball comes off the face hot and really flies with long, straight ball flight. On occasion, I hit the ball fat because of the heavy steel, but the ball still flies far and fairly straight. These clubs have given me a new found confidence that I had lacked previously on the golf course. I am sure that each time I line up the ball with these irons, I am going to hit a good shot. You should be able to find these on Ebay for under $200 now, and I doubt any other irons in this price range can compare to the performance of these irons. I bet I'm shooting in the 80's before the end of summer.

I am a 6 hadicap golfer and I purchased these irons two years ago, I have been very pleased with the irons. I have no complaints, for the money these irons are a great buy, easy to hit and very forgiving. I would recommend these to anyone.

I'm very picky about finding the right clubs and these irons are an excellent choice. I love my Lynx Parallax irons, but these clubs are much better. I especially like the white marker lines on the face of the irons, which help my alignment. My first set of clubs had similar markings and I found this feature to be very helpful in my game. My Lynx irons did not have this feature and I wish that they did. I know $345 sounds expensive for irons, (it is for me) but it is worth it. In all aspects, these are quality irons.

These are good irons for a mid to high handicapper. The irons are extremely easy to get in the air and they go straight. The feel is not up to par with other taylor made irons. The only wronf with these irons is the lack of distance. The trajectory is so high that it knocks off 15-20 yards of the longer irons 5-3. I can't hit my 3 10 yards longer than my 5. Anything over 210 and your not getting there period. These clubs are great for the right golfer.

I have been using this club for a little over a year since I begin to play golf last year. I broke 100 with this club set(Rifle R80) in April this year. This club give you simply give you three things: direction, distance and feeback. This club will give you very straight direction even for miss hit (of course you will loss distance). Slight thin or fat shot does not has major impact on the direction where to me is the key in lower the score. Distance wise, for clean contact at sweet spot the distance is consistant and impressive. Last but not least, with the Rifle shaft, the feedback is good...you will know if that is a good or bad hit without looking. Overall, it is a great club with a reasonable price. However, with its retirement from TM line, hopefully the TM200 has the similar or better price/performance.

Customer Service

Not the greatest. The only time I used that was when I tried to contact TM to question about the Rifle shaft FCM system to the TM shaft system, whereas...what is TM R80 Rifle shaft refer to in the

Great Irons if you have a fast swing like myself. Distance is about the same as other clubs but the accuracy of the club is where these irons come to play. Might even be a little to accurate if you're a single handycapper. Overall gear irons and look great.

Customer Service

No problems with these clubs. Had them for 3 years.

I'm using s-90, rifle shaft, supersteel irons. They are a bit heavy. Due to the stiff shaft the club prefers to be swung harder. Soft shots are harder to gauge on how far they would really go. It is easy to hit high or low shot, punches, and draws but not easy to have just the right amount of fade. They are great to play even on soft fairways, they don't dig as much as the burner irons. Supersteel is so easy to hit. Pure hits goes far and straight. off center hits either to the heel or toe still manages to go far and straight. However, the 3 and 4 irons are quite difficult to hit. You really need to give it a good whack to get it to carry a good distance. 5-Pw, they are easy to control, because of its strong loft the clubs goes far. The SW sucks. Go get better wedges, either hogans or clevelands. Looks: hmmmm, not really handsome but decent enough., feel, why ask for a good feel when these aren't forged clubs, right? Over all the clubs are good say about 4. on the scale. The price is absolutely good. I was able to drop 6 off my handi. so i guess they are good clubs huh.

Took these out to the range yesterday and I was impressed. I was hitting long, high, and straight. You can definitely tell these irons want to hit it straight. When I tried to hit a draw, you can see the ball fighting to try and draw to the left, but the tendency is for the ball to stay fairly straight. For now, with my game the way it is, that's fine. Maybe later, when my shot shaping abilities improve, I might opt for a less forgiving iron with shot shaping features. But for now, I'm very happy with these irons. I love the way they set up when you're standing over a ball. They frame the ball so nicely and gives me that added confidence. When I made flush contact, I didn't get that pure, buttery feeling at impact, but that's not what these irons are intended for. Don't get me wrong though, it still feels great when you 'pure' one.

Undobtedly the best clubs at this and the next price level. Give you straight and long shot easily and consistently. There seems like explosive between club face and ball when hit at square. I make 140m for 7-iron with my legs closed (I'm practising this to improve my swing). It is really miraculous.

This is the first set of golf clubs that I have owned. Previously, all trips to the golf course/range were made using clubs borrowed from friends. After going through 6 different sets of clubs from various manufacturers at this price range, I can say that this club probably offers the best compromise of feel, forgiveness and ability to work the ball. Nothing quite like catching the sweetspot and watching the ball fly. Perhaps, after having used them for 1 year and improved by game a little more, the newer clubs at the next price range feel better. But at this price, still not found anything I prefer.
