Tour Edge Bazooka JMax QL Irons

Tour Edge Bazooka JMax QL Irons

DESCRIPTION

The QL irons are an extraordinarily efficient form that absolutely exudes power, confidence, and personality. The oversized iron is manufactured using a new casting method to produce a patented undercut cavity from one piece of 431 stainless steel. This new casting method allows the mold to have a retractable core producing a clean, consistent one-piece cavity that offers remarkable feel. The deep-channeled undercut cavity allows the c.g. to be moved lower and further back from the face to give you the forgiveness and higher flight pattern you want.

I have played several sets, mostly older because I believe my swing probably doesn't deserve a set of high end clubs. I picked these up at auction for a very reasonable price and have been very happy. Because I've lost some distance over the last ten years, I find I'm approaching more the 150 range and these iron are absolutely dead straight and forgiving when hitting a full shot. I am afraid I'm not feeling much feedback on the touch shots and it will take me many hours on the range to get a good feel for wedge play with these irons. I'm thinking it might be better to go with some old dependable wedges for work around the greens. I am delighted though, to be hitting crisp irons to the green on my chosen line. That alone is worth the price of admission. Now if I can get off the tee a little better, I'll start enjoying the best game in the world like I used to.

These clubs DRAMATICALLY increased my scoring potential. I had troubles getting the ball in the air with my irons. The very first time I used these irons I had a HUGE increase in my GIR's. I went from a 10/11 handicap to a 6! Thank You, Tour Edge.

When I got these irons, I was shooting 105-108 typically. Now, after 2 months of playing, I'm consistently shooting in the high 80s. These are extremely easy irons to get the ball up in the air and straight. I have no ability to "work" the ball, I just try to hit straight shots, and these irons do just that.

I agree with the other reviews that the PW is really not a quality club. But other than that, the mid irons on this set are great and will really help you improve your game.

Furthermore, I bought the 4-pw for $70 on ebay. These are CHEAP.

I've been playing golf for about two years with a set of Titleist DCI Oversize+ irons handed down from my brother. I recently decided to look for something newer and more forgiving. I purchased the Bazooka QL 3,4 hybrid and 5-PW irons, and I have been very impressed with them. They are extremely forgiving (I hit one off the toe of my 6 iron today and it still went straight with minimal loss of distance). The 3 and 4 hybrids are monstrous in terms of distance. I've hit some hybrids before, but never like these. I can regularly hit my 3 220+, and have hit it as long as 235. That's great distance for me. These are great clubs at a great price (I paid $329 for the set).

Customer Service

They come with a lifetime warranty.

This is my 3rd summer playing golf. I learned with Ping Eye2 clubs, and then borrowed TaylorMade R7 CBGs.
I hit Tour Edge Bazookas hit just as well as the above mentioned clubs, with one difference. I am able to put more backspin on the ball with the Bazookas.
All in all, I am fully confident that I would not be able to purchase better clubs for the price ( I paid $230 for 6,7,8,9,PW,LW irons). I have hit with them 3 times so far and it took about 1 bucket of balls to get used to these clubs.

i learned on a pair of wilson sam sneed's. the moved to these. the clubs were great to learn on. but the 9 and pw are POS's. unless your in the high grass it is very hard to get good contact with the ball. i cut my score down by 15+ in the past two years w/ theses clubs. but now im hitting the callaway x-20 and after 2 weeks im in the 90's. if your not a new golger then i recomend not buying these clubs.

I just started playing a year ago last october. Tried some callaway knock-offs then bought some Callaway Hawkeye VFT irons. They worked pretty well but I was not getting any better. Read a review on the Tour Edge clubs & thought I would give them a try. Got a set off E-bay for a hundred bucks & WOW,The 1st time I played with them I went from hitting in the 120's to hitting consistant 102 to 105 & its getting better every game. I've had them for about 4 months & this year I'm sure I will be hitting in the 90's. Highly recommend these clubs to a beginner! I can even hit the 3 & 4 irons in this set with no problem. Will have these clubs for years to come!!!

Recently got a new set w/ 3,4 hybrids stiff Flex. Let me say for the price there a bargin.Having said that, there not perfect. My girlfriend got the reg iron set 3-pw & is great.I can't hit the hybrids clean & am a good ball striker, wish I had the 3/4 in reg irons not metal woods. The 9 & PW have way too much bottom edge & are not workable on anything other than a thick grass lie. I had to substitute 9/pw from another set. The 5-8 irons are DEAD NUTS. I've never been able to hit my lower irons soo long & straight. They alone were worth the price.
