Tour Edge Comp LX Irons

Tour Edge Comp LX Irons

DESCRIPTION

From Tour Edge Golf: "The Comp LX is beautifully finished and a has a sleek, rounded look. The LX irons improve on perfection by creating exceptional feeling shots that fly higher and longer. Features such as the under-cut cavity allow more weight to be added to the sole to make it wider and heavier for an extremely low center of gravity. At impact, this additional weight drives through the ball making it easier to hit higher, longer shots."

I have already posted a review before, but after having these clubs for about two or three months now, I love them even more (If that is even possible). I recommend these to anybody in need to new clubs. Good value, and great clubs. Tour Edge offers to custom build your clubs to your height and lie angle at no extra cost. You are basically buying custom clubs for the price of prebuilts. Get these clubs, they are the most solid feeling clubs I have ever played with.

I have just come home with my clubs. I have waited long enough for them! I tried them out at the store on one of those virtual golf simulators and I fell in love with the clubs. I got them fitted fo rmy height and swing speed and they feel great. I haven't actually played with tehm on a course yet, but seeing how I hit with them at the store, I can't wait! I suggest these clubs to all players of all skill types. They are a great buy and a great value.

I had a set 3-sw custom buuilt from Tour Edge. I love these irons. The pw & sw were a little hard to get used to until I figured out you have to leave the clubface slightly open to get great ball control. I've been consistently shooting 80-82 since getting these irons, before I was at 88-93. Definitely worth the price, you can get some really inexpensive on Ebay.com Great beginner or advanced players clubs.

While my experience is anecdotal, I certainly am pleased with my recent Tour Edge purchase. My LX irons experience is much like what others have written here; Longer and higher trajectory and a super soft feel. I'm dumping my fairway 7 wood as the 3 and 4 irons are more than ample now. Complaints? On short chip/pitch shots the P-wedge seems to fly a tad. Otherwise I'm a happy camper...especially for the price.

The Comp LX irons are good club for the money spent. Like anything else, you get what you pay for in most instances. Used generics previously and these are defenitely a step up. Are these clubs as well made as a $700 set probably not, but if your looking for quality club for $300 bucks, then I recommend the Comp LX. If you don't like them within 30 days you can return them with a full money back refund, so what do you have to lose.

I demoed all the big name companies and kept going back to the Comp LX''s.I really wanted the Pings to work the best for me at the demo day but had to go with the best for my swing. They feel great and you know exactly where you hit the ball on the face(good feedback).Got the 90-100 pure feel steel shafts 1.5 in long 2 degree upright.Demo these before you buy anything. You wont be dissapointed you will prob end up buying them.Got 3-LW

I''ve played most of the "high end" brands, but wanted to try a truly custom fitted set of irons. These clubs are of as high a level of quality as I have ever seen or played. The ball flight is high without ballooning, shots land soft, and the control is excellent. the pure feel shaft is easy to load, swings smoothly, and I can track the clubhead all the way through the swing.....what more can you want? I bought the driving iron through the lob wedge for $388. I think Tour Edge is right, these truly ARE the bst value in the game! I just wish I could give a rating higher then a 5 !!!!!

Customer Service

Custom fitting is the key....their fitters are well trained, efficient, and I received my custom fitted set in less then 10 days. As a quality engineer, the lifetime guarantee is all I needed to see!

It would be hard for me to believe that these irons are not the best value in golf (at least for new clubs). Have them with the rifle-equivalent shafts and find them to be extremely accurate and rock solid. Off-center hits don''t loose a lot. Feel is much better than I expected. Distance control is excellent, shots don''t balloon. While I can work the ball to some extent, the tendency is for the ball to stay pretty straight. Knockdown shots are no problem. I also have a set of the Tour Edge forged V-Blades and intended the Comp LXs to serve as my "bang around" set as the course I play most weekends has arroyos and rough hardpan areas on most holes and I''m not particularly anxious to scratch up the forged clubs. That was until I shot 69 and 68 on consecutive days hitting 27 greens in a row in regulation. If I could only find a putter as true (can''t be my stroke). The V-Blades may be spending more time in my garage than anticipated. All I can say is give them a try, and don''t let the low price fool you. In my opinion, anyone who wants to get the most from their game, whether a scratch or 36 handicap, and have fun at the same time, will enjoy having these clubs in their bag. The 30 day return policy is an added bonus, and the clubs can be custom fit.

Customer Service

I ordered a custom set for my father, who lives in TX. Placed the order on Monday and the set was delivered that Weds. Have returned multiple clubs under their return policy with no questions asked/no
