Tour Edge Woods Irons

DESCRIPTION

From Tour Edge: The Iron-Wood features Tour Edge Golf's patented Lift-Off Sole. This amazing sole design gives you maximum forgiveness on long approach shots by minimizing turf drag. I purched this club as an alternative off of the tee. It's not as long as a conventional 3-wood due to its shorter shaft (about 10-15 yds. less). However, I hit more fairways with this club than I ever did with any wood. I gladly accept the trade-off of distance for being consistantly in the fairway. Great club for those who have troble with traditional woods.

What a great club. I have always hit my irons long & straight. However, I have a mental block when I try to use any driver/fairway woods. All last season I used a Taylor Made 2 Iron from the tee because I could hit it around 225 yards. I stopped by Austads & took a few swings with the Tour Edge #1. All I could say was WOW! I bought it & hit the range, where I was hitting the club long(240-250) & straight. Today, I played my second round with the club. Where I used to hit 2 Iron/4 Iron to the green, I was hitting #1 & 8 Iron. I'm going out tomorrow & purchase the the #0.

I use this club off the Tee, as I have trouble with my driver (slice). The iron wood goes straignt 200 + yards. Not as far as my driver but it's consistantly straight. Hit it like a 5 iron and you can't miss.

i didnt want a 3 iron in the bag so this was the alternative, easier to hit than the 3 iron but with a litte less accuracy, good feel, good value and good distance would recommend this to anyone who wants to improve their game!

I have the Iron-Wood and I have to say it is the best club I have ever bought. The maraging steel face is harder than titanium so you can just pound it. It is meant as a short iron replacement, but I ripped out my 5 wood and put this in its place. It actually is farther than my 5 wood, by about 10-15 yards. It is great for the price (139.99). Good shots are rewarded, marginal ones also. But, the really bad ones are well... really bad. Try this club out. It comes in 16, 18, 21, 24 and 27 degrees. You won't be disappointed.
