DESCRIPTION

Weight in the Di5 is moved from the heel area in the short irons to a lower, deeper position in the long irons where the weight is needed for maximum forgiveness and higher trajectories. With a unique cavity undercut and heel notch, and top-line width progressively increasing from the short irons to the long irons, weight is gradually shifted away from the face, improving perimeter weighting and forgiveness. A sizeable high COR thin face reinforced with a lightweight carbon weave support, as well as an increasing offset.

Just an update on these irons since I purchased them. I have know played six rounds, most in terrible weather. 4 of those rounds have been in the high 70,s. I have palyed golf for over 30 years and have never had a set of irons like these. I am not going to rant and rave, all I am going to say is the Proof Is In The Pudding.

I have had these irons for about 4 months now and I am looking to replace them. To me the irons now seem to be lacking in the feel department. They do hit the ball a long ways but it has to with the standard lofts wilson has on these irons. 9 iron is 40 degree and PW is 44 degree. I think these irons were meant more for the 15-20 handicap which I no longer am. Overall I think these are a ok set of irons but they just weren't meant to be in my bag

I recently had my entire set stolen. After reading about the Wilson Staff Di5 irons, I had to try them. I see why they were rated as an excellent game improvement club. I hit the long irons much higher than I did with my old set, which is great, becuase I was notorious for a low ball flight. Not any more.

I have been demoing new irons for the past couple of weeks, looking for a replacement for my 2004 Big Berthas that fell apart. Yesterday I played a round with these irons and they are a very, very positive club. They have the set up and feel of a regular iron, high ball flight and forgiving on missed shots. I am glad to see Wilson is producing a good iron again. The Staff are going in my bag.

In recent years I have played Taylor Made 360's and Callaway X-14's. I recently purchased the new Wilson Di5 irons and I cannot say enough about them. They are balanced well, and the ball comes off the face crisp. I cannot recommend them enough for players of any level.
