Looks like an old-fashioned potato masher or the heel of a boot, but can't argue with the results. A consistent putter with the unique honeycomb-milled Bettinardi face. It has a distinctive "ping" sound when it strikes the ball, but you get used to it. Mostly you'll hear "ping....plop" as the ball goes in the hole. Easy to line up, easy to get distance control.

I purchased the Bettinardi The Hawk putter today and practiced with it. I was amazed at how easy the putter was to use. The ball rolled true off the face and the alignment guides made it easy to direct. I have tried many putters this year but The Hawk has the best feel of them all. I can't wait to use it on the course.

Nice putter. I bought the triangle shaped version. Solid feel and rolls the ball purely. Haven't had much of a chance to test it on courses yet, but the practice feel gives me much hope. I had a 2 ball blade dfx and it just left a lot to be desired. Inconsistent roll and so on. With the center shaft I seem to be able to have more down the line control with starting the ball out on my target line.

Was looking around Ebay the other day, not for anything specific but just "window shopping", unfortunatly it turned into buying. As a golfer you see alot of things come and go with putting and i was more than happy with my 2-ball center shaft couldnt miss, but as i was saying i was on ebay and saw the newest edition to the bettinardi/ben hogan, The BH12 and it was center shaft which i thought well any good golfer knows you need at least two putters and proceded to place a bid and subsequently one it. I recieved it in good time and gave it a go. My reaction was WOW it feels superb, is easy to line up and sounds solid nothing spectacular. I never thought i would need another putter but now i have it i think it will stay in my bag for a long time. Dont be fooled you dont need to be a pro golfer to use this, it would be perfect for someone who struggles to line up and has problems with off center hits. All in all you can pick these up fairly cheap on ebay but even if you pay full price it is as good as the 2-ball if not better.

Wow! This putter is Something else, I've picked up this putter from ebay after reading a review from recent Golf Magazine for $67. This putter just feel wonderful, it's hard to describe it. I'm normally hard person to impress when it comes to golf clubs, but this is one time I really felt excited and amazed. The Ball just rolls true and straight off the face of the putter. Alignment is easy with its T shape line. This putter gave me back the confidence I need it for those long lag putts. The distance control is better than any putter I have and I have many putter including Futura, phantom,X,Rossie,Newport studio, platinum,Ping Anser, tear drop,Yes-Marlyn. Who would of thought this $67 putter could beat out all these putter and gave me back the once lost "feel" again. Just give it a try and watch that ball glide in to the whole and dissapear. Money don't always equate to better score and this is really a true case with me.

Wow, what a putter. You can not miss. The alignment aid is great, the shape of the head helps keep the head on line, the face is soft but the ball has a true hot roll. Nice grip, loud but very comfortable. For the price, you can not beat it....

Very unique putter. Makes a "ting" sound like the old Pings at impact. "T" shaped alignment lines make it very easy to aim. Distance control was easy to master with it within the first few putts. The face is pretty lively, and I rarely leave a putt short with it. It has a soft feel due to the fact it's milled aluminum, but it doesn't have that too-soft insert feel about it. Winn V-17 grip is pretty bright, but it's nice and tacky. Headcover effectively protects the entire head. Check Ebay.. you can get these about 1/2 price on there, and they're a steal compared to Futuras and some other models out there!
