I have only been playing Golf for about 2 months now, but I love it. I have a lot of friends that play and enter alot of Scrambles. Being that I slice EVERYTHING! in my long game, the only way I can contribute is in chipping and putting. I did have a cheap no-name blade putter before the MAC and I didnt do to well. I pratice putting several hours a week and still no luck. Now with this MAC I am a machine! We played a four man scramble last saturday and I sunk 7 impressive putts. This club is pretty light for a mallet, but the weight is distributed throughout the club giving you a nice smooth swing. The design and color is a little crazy, and I had everone on the course asking me "What the Hell is that?" but for me, a full time college student with limited funds, this is a steal. I paid $34 dollars (including Shipping) for this club and now that I have it I would have paid $100 for it. I def. reccommend this club to any beginner, cent saver, or one who whats a unique club for their bag.

I'm a beginner at this game but had picked things up relatively quickly in all areas of my game with the exception of putting. I was consitently three putting and sometimes four putting. Two putts was a real bonus for me. I was pretty sure that with a better putter I could improve quickly and I had already purchased the MAC driver from ebay so I went for the CS ION putter. After only two and a half rounds things are a world of difference. Long putts aren't missing by 10 feet anymore and middle distance putts are sometimes going in. 3-6 feet putts are now going in 90% of the time. Although this is a mallet putter is fairly light and is very well balanced giving it a smooth swing. When you line it up with the whole you really get that feeling that you've lined it up perfectly. Try it. As others say you can pick these up dirt cheap. I would have paid many time more for this sort of perfomance and quality. I've now got the driver, 3 wood, all three tourbounce wedges, the putter and the bag. Why pay hundreds when you can have the same performace for ten times less? Just search for MAC on ebay.
