A very solid putter. Well balanced. The face is not too hard but definately not soft. Very consistent coming off the club face. I think a very overlooked putter. For the price I would suggest trying it. Alot cheaper than its Titleist and Odyssey counterparts.

The form forged classic II has a nice feel but no where's as nice as the Cameron Mil spec Newport or Newport 2.5 Stianless. It appears similar to the Newport but does not line up to the hole as well and the balance seems less then ideal. Not bad for the price though.

I have gone thru a bunch of putters over the years. Having Cleveland irons and wedges, I wanted to try a Cleveland putter. I gave one a try in a store and fell in love with it. But I knew I could beat the 70 dollar price. I got a 34 inch left handed one on Ebay for $39 brand new. It was money well spent. The putter lines up nicely and has a super feel upon contact with the ball. I seem to be able to guage my stroke power to distance better with this putter. It is a super putter and lives up to the other Cleveland clubs I have.I am through buying putters for a while.

I bought this putter on a hunch. I have all Cleveland 588 wedges and figured I would go for an all Cleveland short game. I must say that I am not disappointed at all. In fact, I fooled around with a friend's Scotty cameron Newport recently and didn't like it much at all compared to this putter. Not bad for a $69 putter. I have actually seen this putter on Ebay for $45 since. Just my luck. I am not complaining. If you are looking at a Cameron you owe it to yourself and your wallet to check a Cleveland Classic out first. If you don't like it then go ahead and spend $200 plus for a Name. In my case I'll use the extra dough to buy another Cleveland wedge.

I tend to collect putters and have a big collection of various (and multiple numbers) of Scotty Cameron, Odessey, Ping, Never Comprimise etc... and I cannot believe what this putter has done for my game. I love to play with various putters when I'm shopping for equipment, tried it one day and couldn't put it down. I bought it fully expecting to return it once I compared it to my other putters but it just seems to work better for me. It lacks the sweet feel of my Cameron Newport 2 but seems to line up dead straight and has just the right feel for both long and short puts. My ego wants to put the Cameron back in my bag but this Cleveland Classic 2 has performed flawlessly and it's going to be my tool of choice for a while. It represents great value, excellent performance and a job well done by Cleveland...highly recommeded! Cheers!

Model Reviewed: LH Classics 2 (anser look alike)

I was looking to replace my ping anser 2 cut down to 33". Ordered this putter at 34" with the intention to cut an inch off and was surprised by the putter head that came with it. The head appears to be the same as the 365 gram gutcheck mid-length putter Cleveland makes. It certainly is not the one pictured on the website or on ebay auctions of the classic 2. I much prefer it to the one I expected. It looks much more like the anser 2 than any of the Cleveland classic 2s I've seen. Feels much softer than the Ping which is cast from 17-4 stainless. Not quite the feel of the forged Camerons, but Scotty Cameron no longer makes the mil-spec line and there is no way to order a left handed putter shorter than 35". There is one other firm I found out there that makes in milled putters for LH. vonsgolf.com looks to make the equivalant to camerons for less money and because of the heavy putter head weights would work better for persons looking for a shorter putter. I may try the von's putter, but for now I'm happy with this $70 putter.

I just bought this putter and have played a few rounds with it, and my putting has never been better. 18 holes and only 29 putts, including 12 holes in regulation. This putter really works and has an incredible feel. It is especially sensative on the long putts and handles well on the short putts. Buy this putter.

Model Reviewed: FF1 Gunmetal

I found this used for the same price that I was trading a wedge in for, so I took it since it had a nice feel to it. After putting around with it off and on, it has replaced my Scotty Cameron Newport. The ball just seems to kiss off the face so softly, almost like an insert type putter. It just instills confidence in me when I'm in that "throw up zone" of 3-6 feet. The harder to find gunmetal head looks great too! For trading in an older wedge for it, I came out the winner hands down!! I've noticed several other reviewers say the same thing, namely about benching their ultra high priced Titleist Camerons for this putter. It seems that Cleveland makes more than just great wedges, and that they have perhaps the best bang for the buck out there. In similiar fashion, I switched from a Titleist 975D driver to a Cleveland 330 Launcher. I wonder now what I can trade my Cameron putter in for??!!

Superb putter, very high quality. The only thing that lets it down is the cheap headcover it comes with otherwise it could be mistaken for a scotty Pro platinum. I actually prefer the feel of this putter to the titleists. Almost all of my clubs are cleveland because they are of very high quality at reasonable prices. This putter won't drop loads of shots off your handicap but it allows you to feel waht the clubhead is doing without being too soft allowing for truer distance judging
