I had an old Slotline mallet putter that I lost confidence in (you know how it is) and decided to look into something new. Tried all the putters at the store and this was the only one that I felt comfortable with. Top it off, it's a handsome (subjective of course) putter and it was only $50! I love how this putter feels, the head is very heavy thanks to the semi-circular brass ring (think the new Scotty Cameron Futura)and the insert in the face ensures that feel is soft without that awful 'ping' sound you get with brass or other metal faced inserts. Ball rolls true and I don't notice and twisting of the head through the stroke. The T-Line alignment guide is very very good, it runs almost the length of the putter head so lining up putts is easy and to me, a little more precise than the 2-ball system. From 10 feet and in (where I have the most problem), it gives me a lot of confidence and I'm holing out almost every 4 or 5 footer now, where in the past it would've been a constant struggle. Dislikes? Well, no putter is perfect. The heavy head means that there is a loss of feel on long putts but as I said above, my problem is dropping putts from 10 feet and in so not too big a concern for me. In the sunlight, the shiny brass ring is distracting but nothing a can of matte black spray paint or tape can't fix! Also, it's a pain to find! Golfsmith have them in stock periodically and I only found a couple of websites that carried them. I lucked out because I managed to pick up the last one at my local Sports Authority. I know this putter won't be for everyone, thing about putters is, it's even more subjective than any other golf club. I can only write about my experiences and hope this putter is right for you too. I tried 'em all, Odyssey, Never Compromise, Scotty's, Nike, even no name knock-offs but I felt the most comfortable with this one. Good luck with your search!

This is THE BEST putter I've used in the last 10 years to include the Odyssey DFX 2 ball and Ping. The weight is the first thing you notice...it's heavy which promotes a smoother stroke. The alignment system is perfect and the Winn grip feels great. On first attempt I rolled 8 in a row in from 12 feet! As a 12 HCP, I can see this helping me to my single digit goal as I tend have those sorts of putts for par and the occasional birdie opportunity. Finally, the value-under$60!!! Again, my $179 2 ball is collecting dust in the garage after using this. Get one!
