Model Reviewed: Fisher TS-2

I thought long and hard about replacing my current fisher (traditional) putter with one of these fancy types as I have been getting the jitters on 2-3M putts and it's been driving me nuts. Of late I have also been misjudging distance on the longer putts and either being short or ending up wide. In 27 years of golf I have only had 2 putters so this was a big decision and step to take.

Anyhow onto review, spent about 50 minutes at the store putting surface checking this one and others out. This one appeared a bit heavy but seemed to do the trick. Ok, shelled the money out and decided to have a round at my home course. Everything appeared very well on the practice putting surface but I needed to see how this would translate on real greens. The construction of the putter lends itself to assisting the eye on focusing where you want the ball to go. How did this translate on the greens?, Unbelievable. Those short jitter putts are no more, in the hole first time every time. The longer putts, say 15 - 20 metres - stopping within 1 foot of the hole 95 % of the time and always remaining online even if short. I'm very impressed with this putter. I would not have considered it possible this would make such a difference. I think this particular putter will see me out. Outstanding.
