In the last several years I've used two putters, one an Odyssey Two Ball mallet and the other a Scotty Cameron Newport. Both have been customized to my specs and both have their strong points. The Two Ball was great from 5-6 feet in but not so good from long distances. The Scotty was great from long distances because of the solid, consistent feel but I never had much confidence over the 3-4 footers. After winning the Rife 2 Bar Mallet in a local tournament I have to say I'm sold. It takes a while to get used to, mostly due to having to bend it a few times to get the set up just right. Now that I have it set up to fit my stance and stroke I don't see why more players on tour aren't using this thing. From long distances the roll groove face and balance of the putter give great feedback for distance control, and from up close the alignment lines give a high degree of confidence. I suppose I'll always be one of those golfers that is drawn to new equipment, but I don't see this club leaving my bag for a long, long time.

When it comes to golf I am a tinkerer. I obsess with equipment and am overjoyed and anticipate the release of new clubs. I typically buy a new putter every year, sometimes more than one. I have been using the RIFE for a year now and couldn't be happier. It is highly customizable (that's not a word, but I'm sure you catch my drift). On days when the greens are a bit slow, I like to lighten the putter up by removing weights. On days when my stroke is a bit off, I will add weight to help smooth my swing out. The notch at the top of the putter ensures consistency and proper alignment. The grooves prevent skid, which helps better judge distance on longer putts. I am awaiting another putter that can rival the 2 bar, and until then, it will remain faithfully in my bag.

I really love this putter. You can get the ball rolling smoothly soo easily. I would usually just read reviews, but I have had this putter for about a month and all i can say is WOW. I know it looks a bit bulky, but you get over that fast with the results. Truly the best putter I have ever used. I bought it used and it didn't come with headcover. So I bought one. I would recomend protecting the putter face to prevent pitting. I am usually a traditionalist, but I went out of my box this time and it was absolutely worth it. Love it. and I am sure anyone who trys it will agree. Confidence builder.

I've played with many name brand putters including many different Scotty Cameron putters but this GR Two Bar is the best IMO. My regular golfing buddies (all single digit handicapped) were making fun at me the first day I had it; but half of them(5 out of 10)are now putting with the same putter like mine. Simply put: the Two Bar putter has great feel and performed as advertised. The BEST...

Well..like everyone always trying to improve my game..and of course the way to do it is to take fewer putts...working in a golf store gives me a great opportunity to try almost everything..I have been playing my ping craz-e putter for two yrs with really improved results..especially on the shorter putts going left hand low. I make ore than my share of mid range putts also but my lag putting was what caused me most of my 3 putts...no longer...this 2 bar putter has really improved that aspect of my putting with my results a bit better on short and mid range putts...the big surprise is that I putt better now on all types of greens..fast or slow...This putter is a treat,,great feel..rolls the ball so well and I'm not leaving my putts short like a did before...It doesn't get the advertising like name brand putters...but maybe people like me (12) handicap can help...it sure works for me !!!

I wish there was a higher rating than 5, because 5 doesn't do this putter justice. This is without a doubt the greatest putter ever made and I have tried almost every putter ever made. You don't even have to think with this putter, just look and swing. The grooves roll the ball like I've never seen. Sweetest roll and you buddies will be cursing you and trying to break into your truck and steal your putter! Fantastic!

Putting is all about cinfidence and this putter delivers. It covers all the aspects promoted by the sales pitch, weighting both low and far back with the new bar system and heel and toe.The roller grove technology does get the ball rolling faster and better which means more stroke and feel for the same distance and a truer roll. Alignment is easy and the adjustable hosel and then alighnment system to ensure the correct set up every time are all the added features designed to assist and help the player produce and deliver a constant putting stroke that will under-pin the confidence neede to be a good putter in all circumstances.

Customer Service

For me it has been excellent.

I won't carry on about putts made like many reviews do. This is not a fourm to brag about accomplishments. I have tried many putters over the years and this is a great design. It is very easy to align with the line and bars. I find the lighter weights work best for slow greens as the company website recommends. That is contrary to what you would think. The grooves provide a very soft feel and the lack of offset make it easy to square the face. You take a little heat at first from your playing partners, but that quickly is silenced when they see the results. I have putted with various putters and the 2 ball is a great putter, but I think this is superior. It does get the ball rolling quicker due to the one degree loft, however that can work against you when putting from the fringe. The ball tends to drag a bit more than putters with more loft. I got mine on Ebay new for $162. These are often promoed on the Golf Channel for only a few "easy payments". One of my partners told me last week I was winning enough with it to make my monthly payment on it. From my crew that is quite a compliment for this putter! I highly recommend this putter and anticipate using it for a good while.....

Have been playing with this putter for the last couple of weeks. I can't put worth a crap. I don't know how many putters I have had-Ping, Scotty Cameron, 2 balls blade & mallet, this putter rolls the ball so well. I can't believe how many putts I made today, and they were not 2 to 6 footers. I made left to right, right to left, uphill and downhill. This putter is amazing. It sets up so nice, and the two bars really help with the alignment, and getting it started on line. Absolutely amazing. Wish I would have had this putter at Pebble Beach & Royal Troon. Try it-you gonna like it.
