I have now played three rounds with this putter and have put in several hours on the practice green. I can say this putter with the persimmon insert has about the best feel and feedback of any putter I have used in many years. The persimmon insert gives me a better feel for distance and speed than any metal to ball contact putter I have used. It is very easy to learn and I have been seeing a lot of the 30 to 40 footers end up less than a couple of feet from the hole. Persimmon gives a better sense of feedback than any metal faced or sythetic insert putter I have tried. I called Louisville Golf and asked them about the insert. They said it was slightly over 5/16 of an inch thick. This lighter material also allowed them to remove more steel from the sweet spot, so the moment of inertia "MOI" of this putter is super high and makes it very forgiving. I can really feel the ball with this putter and it will be in my bag for along time to come. The face is CNC milled flat, and it appears to be of top notch construction.
