OK I am a little late, but I just found this putter after 40+ yrs of seeking to bring my putting up to the level of the rest of my game. This method works, I am making at least one 25 foot putt per round and almost all 6 footers in. Yean it looks a little odd, but it WORKS> They are still making this thing on the cheap, but again it works.

Been using this putter for 5 years and it still works better than ever. It really is a putter that you can master. It is so easy to do and really is a more conventional way to putt than most people think. For any hockey player this putter will feel perfect. For any athlete you will grasp it fast. For all others give it an hour or so and you will have the concept down. This putter and style is not going anywhere, it will get bigger and bigger. It's 2010, don't be afraid to what is easiest and produces results.

This putter works. No doubt about it. It is by far the easiest putter I have ever used. There is nothing set in stone that tells us golfers how to putt. They used to do croquet style, side saddle, now they do long, belly, claw etc..etc.. what ever works and whatever gives you confidence. The reason you don't see and PGA guys using one is b/c of $$$$. I'm sure the hammy people don't have the cash to pay somebody to use it. Nobody uses stuff for free on the PGA tour. You pay em they play em, simple as that. If they had 100 grand a year to pay somebody, you better believe people would be using it. Now Natalie is using a knock off Taylor Made hammy want to be. It will not work as well for her, she'll be back to her hammy shortly. Just like Callaway tried to make Rich Beam a knock off and he hated it, said he loved the hammy though.

Motivated to try this putter after I saw Natalie Gulbis win with it on the LPGA tour recently. Her putting stats have gone through the roof after using this putter.I can see why, as it really does work. Feels really comfortable to use and distance control is very very good.Alignment on the short ones is very easy and the smoothness of my stroke with the split hands is really quite special. For the first time in my golfing life I feel like I can make any putt.In reality of course I dont, but this thing does work and I am making more putts than before. If you are already a great putter then I guess you dont need this, but if your only average or worse then give this putter a try as I think it will make many golfers much much better in this critical part of the game.I found it much easier to use than a belly or broom putter and was comfortable with it after 10 minutes or so.The split hands effectively means your putting with just your right hand, so no wristiness or yipping, just smooth strokes.Instuctional DVD is usefull and came with the putter.
The putter is well made although a bit pricey given that I had to pay import duties to the UK.Nevertheless I am genuinely thrilled with a simple putting idea with a club tha is taking shots of my game.I am sure sooner or later a PGA tour player will adopt this putter, quite simply because it works.

I have always prided myself on being an excellent putter. As of late though, I had been missing some 4 footers and switched traditional putters two or three times. I have high expections when it comes to my putting. The changes with traditional putters helped but the problems seemed to creep back. I read something online about how Natilie Gubulis had started using the Hammy and climbed to the top of the LPGA putting stats. I went and tried one at golfsmith and it felt very natural. The hammy style is very sound and allows you to view the line with both eyes. This putter is the real deal! Here is what I was told about the putter and I really believe this is true.... If you are a good putter this will make you better and more consistent (slight gains). If you are a bad putter this can make you a good putter (big gains). My speed is better with this putter and I am sinking many more 4-5 footers. Construction is fantastic and dvd is helpful. I think it is just a matter of time before you see someone on the PGA putting with the hammy. I think this is a classic/rare example of a small company with a BIG idea that really works. Give this a try and I think it can make the game more enjoyable and you will make more putts. It worked for me.

I'll admitt it, I was desperate to try something... anything infact to satisfy my cravings to putt better. This HammY seems to be it! Now I'm an old baseball player who'd putted 35-40 times per round -for years. I bought a HammY & I've played 6 rounds & since I've put "nat" (thanks Natalie!) in my bag I'm averaging 28 per round now. The heavy head, the very open (nearly bunting) stance helps get a much better view of the line and the split hands grips virtually eliminates "flipping" (getting wristy) the putter...this helps with my distance control. Yes, it looks unconventional, but so did the metal woods, oversized tennis rackets and I personally cringed when I saw and heard the first aluminum baseball bats...yuck. I urge you, DO NOT BE AFRAID of this "special looking" putter! ...but, your opponents should be!! This lil' jewel works!! I hope someone else buys one, I don't want Natalie Gulbis and I to be the only ones using them. I paid for MINE and they ARE a bit pricy...
