First off, this is a very attractive looking putter--it's nicely shaped, the milling looks great, and the headcover and grip have more of a 'professional' feeling than previous Never Compromise models.

This is also the BEST balanced blade putter I have ever used, bar none. This is probably because of the plug in the toe of the putter. It swings back and through flawlessy. This putter will definantly help people with the yips. The gray/black/gray does help with alignment, especially on short putts. This feel is soft, firm, and responsive--not as good as a Scotty Cameron, but still very nice.

However, this putter does have a few downers. It is very, very expensive compared to previous Never Compromise putters. Also, the finish seems to wear fairly quickly if careful measures aren't taken (this hasn't happened to me, but I saw a used Milled Series #4 that was beat up pretty bad). Finally, the feel is too soft if you are using soft balls. I originally putted with some Wilson True Tours that I had originally picked up in a bargain bin, and they were way too soft and I couldn't judge distance with this putter. If you play regular ProV1's, this might be too soft for you. When I switched back to my regular Nike One Platinum's, the feel returned.

The bottom line: this putter is a great compromise between the traditional blade and modern alignment aids. However, the gray/black/gray scheme will not please everyone. Just test it out in person, and you will be pleasantly surprised by the quality of the Never Compromise brand.
