I really liked the two-ball putter, but I found it difficult to get precise alignment. This Marxman mallet putter really helps take the guessing out as to whether my putter face is pointed where I want. The face is also well-balanced to help promote a proper stroke. I found that this putter set up on the ground much more level than did other mallets such as the Cameron Futura, which tends to close itself at address.

Just an absolute pleasure to putt with, this is a well balanced putter!I can use my "feel" game when using this putter and it allows me to use my imagination in that I can see the putt rolling in the hole and play the break. Odyssey has some great putters, the xg line is great and so is the Black line, love the Black #3. Customer Service Callaway owns them. nough said! Odyssey Marxman putter
Went to local Golf Galaxy to try to find a new putter - was looking for a mallet style and narrowed it down to the Nike OZ(Blue Chip series) the Ping Craz-E B(G5i series)and the Odyssey Marxman (White Hot XG series). All felt well and got a good feel off the face. The marxman has the best of the SRI 2 ball but incorporates a new series of white lines, which for me really line up the ball nice.

Putting is definitely one of my stenghts. I have been using a five year old Mizuno blade and had never spared a thought about buying one of those funny and often clunky looking new models. That changed the very moment I made my first put with this one in a golf outlet store. Unbelievable soft feel, easy to line up, striking precision. I tried a 20 feet put and five out of five balls stopped within inches of the hole. I bought it immediately. After three rounds I have played since I can say: I just love it. Marxman Blade
Odyssey Golf bills its new Marxman putter as the successor to the company’s groundbreaking 2-Ball putter. The 2-Ball is sort of like Star Wars. It blew people’s minds and set sales records, and it’s a really tough act to follow. If you make a sequel, it had better be good. So did Odyssey deliver? Yes. I found it to really excel at a radius of four to 10 feet around the hole. The alignment properties of the putter are brilliant, inspiring maximum confidence anywhere near the hole. It’s hard to explain the sensation, but you’ll see what I mean when you take one out to the practice green.

Maybe the best of the new generation of high-MOI putters. The Hi-Def sightlines seem to line this putter up better than anything I've ever used, including the Two-Ball. Last Sunday, I was on target and on line better than any Anser-style putter I've ever used.
