This putter does not have any feedback when you putt. Everyone should compare with Carbite. After I tried the Carbite I sold my Tri Hot that day.

I myself am now using the original white hot putter and was eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Tri-Hot. I love the feel of the orignal white hot but agree that it is a little on the light side....nothing a little lead can''t do. From the moment i saw the Tri-Hot on the shelves i was totally put off. It''s shiny finish would be too great a distraction when the sun is above. About the feel, it feels the same if not worse than the old white hot''s..."like plastic on plastic". I feel that the only thing that is nice about it is its weight. It has a very nice balanced feel to it. And also, the fact that it costs S$480 does''nt help. Rather get a Titliest Pro Platinum or a new White Hot.

Just an allround wonderful putter. Had an old Rossie 2 putter with stronomic insert and had upgraded to a white hot #5 mallet. But found the head was too light and this coupled with the soft "rule 35" insert had a real problem with distance control with lag puts. But the tri hot cured that problem...first round I played with it I had 29 putts, 2nd round 27 putts, 3rd round 32 putts, and 4th round 29 putts. The head weighting was superb and the club literally swung itself. No torgueing of head with off centre hits. I have also noticed how pure the ball comes off the clubface....which I have not noticed with any other putter. And besides all this...it looks great!! Though expensive, this stands hands down as the best putter I have come across yet!!

I'm one of those people who has searched every store, every pro shop, every site, every nook & cranny in search of the elusive perfect putter. I've used cheap ones, way too expensive ones, old, new, bent, remodelled, re-gripped, shiny, faded, the lot...
Dare I say it....I think this is it!!
There's love at first sight and then there's the feeling You get when You put your mits on one of these babies....perfect. The weight, the feel, the look....perfect. All that technical garb sounds good but the proof's in the reality of how good this club really is. Call me strange but I cuddle up to this thing at night....BEAUTIFUL!!
Oh, I thought the cover actually looked pretty good, might fade but.

It felt great in the store. Came back again to play with it and it still felt great! Came back in to purchase it and it was no where to be found! Turns out that the #1 is EXTREMELY HARD to find. When I eventually did get it, it still felt great. The insert makes the hardest balls feel like balatas. Has wonderful feel and distance. This has to be the best club in my bag (and most used and most expensive next to my driver).

I was EXTREMELY hesitant to plop down the $268 (including tax). The law of diminishing returns was about to set in but it did not. I'm very confident with this putter and love it!

Try it out for yourself.

The TriHot is the Real Deal. I went out the day after I got it and shot an 86. I had 6 1putts on my round and one of those was from 30+ feet. With this putter, I am able to place the ball right where I want it, even on mishits. Odyssey got this one right.

I really like this putter and recommend it. Odyssey has done a great job. The weight feels great. The tungsten way in the back helps stablizes your stroke. The insert really gives an excellent feel and roll and I think the sound is perfect. You can guage distance very accurately. It feels very resilient. I've been able to make a lot of 4 to seven foot putts without any problem. The setup is very nice. The sole sits well on the ground and is easy to line up and square. I considered a Cameron and I felt that the ball would bouce a little off the face especially on long putts. This putter really gets the ball rolling quicker. I practice at home on carpet and can make 8 foot putts very consistently with this putter. I had a Nubbins for about two years and I do not think it would roll a ball nearly as true as the TriHot does. This club is a great confidence builder. I might change the grip to a Winn grip though. It is expensive, but there are only a few things in life where I can afford the very best, and this is one of them.

Last year I drooled for weeks over the introduction of the new White Hot line and immediately purchased the "Ping Zing" look-alike. Despite my optimism and positive feelings about this tool, the harsh, "clicky" feel and sound of "Plastic on Plastic" had me trade that thing in after just a few weeks. Beside that, I made exactly ONE putt during this time.

Now, here's the "advanced" version of last year's high-end TriForce line. Over the past few weeks, I have been scouting pro shops and EBay for near-new Tri-Force models, but simply wasn't convinced enough to buy. I did practice with the new Tri-Hot but the "jewel-like" finish -- meaning WAAAY too shiny -- combined with that plastic-putter hitting plastic-ball was just too unpleasant to bear. How does Callaway justify $250 for a putter when virtually NO-ONE on any pro tour is using their white-faced models? (Annika tried one but whent back to her black-faced Rossie mallet.) Think twice about purchasing the Tri-Hot -- you may be the ONLY one at your club who does.

I wholeheartedly concur with the review subsequent to mine. I foolishly spend money on putters like I really can afford it. Bought the TriForce 1 when it first came out for $300, what a waste, went through the Terylium Camerons, Never Comps (very good putters), Kevin Burns, Pro Platinum (another very good putter) and of course the Odyssey White Hots, Models 4 &5. Hated both those.

Let me say that the White Hots, Tri Force and Newport 2 were completely unpredictable. Mostly I was pushing these putts right. So I went back to my never compromise Alpha mallet. This is a solid putter. Because I have a straight back straight forward putt, face balanced fits me best, but I like the look of a blade.

Lo and behold out comes the TriHot, again after being burned by the TriForce and White Hots, I was very skeptical and apprehensive about putting out another 250 bones for another putter. But as usual the quest for the Excalibur of putters got the best of me and Voila' ......The best putter I have ever owned..

The TriHot 3 is the sweetest striking and sweetest looking piece of sports artistry I have ever owned. Complete predictablity especially from 6 foot in, when they really count. The best blade putter I have ever encountered. Putts role end over end and just die into the hole, no missing right or having to close the blade face to get a straight putt.

If you are using a mallet and want to switch to a sleeker blade, this may be the answer, Certainly kicks major butt on the TriForce and White Hots. Pricey but what the heck, sell all your old unused stuff, skip the wife's birthday gift and splurge on this hot witch, you won't be sorry. Suhweet!!

Customer Service

Callaway is the most responsive, professional outfit I have ever had to deal with. A #1!!

At my country club which i am joined and i work there I tried out the new trihot putter for about a week. Now I am 14 and I am not stupid... All this putter is....is a remake of the whitehot, with the triforce weight and body that is way over priced. The white hot and trihot arent that soft to begin with unless ur using callaway balls. Im sorry to say but this is a market rip off scam if I ever saw one and I am sticking with my Mil-spec Scotty Cameron putter...I would recommend the triforce...not the trihot!
