I, like many others, have tried many different putters, not feeling very confident in any of them. After trying the 2 ball at the sporting goods store a couple of times, I found a used white hot 2 ball for good price and decided to purchase it. I must say I wish I would have done it sooner! I'm not saying this made me a better putter, only practice accounts for that but, I very much like the look and sound of the putter. I also was amazed with the response and feel it has. I feel very comfortable with this putter, and I believe that mentally, that is the most important aspect of any putter. I now know why this is one of the best selling putters out there. If your thinking of trying one do yourself a favor and go for it!

I've always liked the feel and setup of a mallet putter versus a blade. However, I have been struggling to find one that gives me the confidence to step up and sink a ten footer without being concerned about my alignment. I saw the 2ball in a bin at one of the Golf Mega Stores, so for the money, I thought, why not? Unbelievable! First time out, no three puts, and I was burning the edges from twenty feet all day. The 2ball really helps me line up and go. Great putter for the money, and now they're even cheaper.

Model Reviewed: White hot XG 2 Ball

I constantly shoot in the high 70's but the one part of my game that has always held me back has been my putting and it's not from a lack of putters, I've had them all. For some reason I never opted to try a Two Ball as I always thought they looked big, ugly and cumbersome. After endless more rounds and putters this summer I finally gave in and bought the XG 2 ball mallet (not blade) and I am now wishing I had bought a 2 ball when they first came out. I am now holing putts and with that the confidence level is roaring up.

The first thing to note is that the putter head is not as big as you may think when at address, in fact it fits quite neatly behind the ball. I think 3 things make this putter stand out over others though.
1. The ease of allignment (the obvious one)
2. The balance through the stroke, this putter is silky smooth, there is no 'back of the stroke wobble' that you get from a lot of heel/toe balanced models, you just have to pick a line with the two ball and slowly go back and through, I for one am now returning the club head more times to exactly the same address position than I ever did before.
3.The best feature though is the roll on the ball, this putter rolls the ball brilliantly, obviously this is in the design moving weight away from the face but it really is a winner, no more coming up short all the time.

I am not going to say that this is the best putter money can buy that's down to your choice nor am I going to say that it's better than the same type of style (Ping Craz-e, Futura etc) but I think that if you want to hole more putts, give this a go, I don't think you'll regret it.

First of all, I'll just say my average score is just above 100 (including rounds from previous years), but I'm getting better.

Every time I would try out Putters at a golf store, the 2-Ball just always worked for me. So, I finally bought one! After 2 rounds, I've averaged less than 2 putts per hole (an improvement for me). With previous putters, I had issues not only with lining up putts, but my judgment of distance was not good on longer putts. The 2-Ball makes me much more confident on the green, and I've been judging distance a LOT better. My lines have also improved with the 2-Ball alignment system. It just works for me visually.

I think $99 for a new putter that really improves your putting game is a good value.

Haven't had to deal with them, but tgw.com is great!

My former putter was a CER Milled Stainless heel-toe putter. A nice putter, but I didn't putt well with it. I also have a MacGregor Bobby Grace V-Foil MOI M5K Putter that I haven't used on the course, but it seems nice too. While practicing, the MacGregor certainly seemed to perform better (for me) than the CER on longer putts.

I was a relativly decent putter with the standard blade putter sinking everything 5 feet and under, anything else though had trouble getting lined up,good speed, good distance, just a little right or a little left. Since I got my two ball putter anything 8 to 10 feet and under lookout!! Although I am sure there sre a lot of great putters out there, this is got to be up there with the best of them ever!!!!

The Odyssey two ball putter is a great putter that gives you the abiltity to read a pin location better than any other putter on the market. I would recomend this to anyone who ever has those putts that always come an inch left or right. However I don't recommend this to people who have a tough time reading the length and being able to put the right amount of zip on the ball and sink the put. Of the top putters on the market the two ball by far has one of the worse feels to it, because of the bulkey head, that is why this product is a four instead of a five, but the trade off to getting a putter with a good feal, like a Titleist Scotty Cameron is that it doen't quite give you the range or aiming capabilities the Two Ball gives you, and that's why their really isn't a five star putter in the market right know. And in my opinion the two ball is still the number one putter on the market.

Played this putter for 3 years and have been relatively pleased with it. Distance putts over 10 feet are a breeze to get within 2 feet. Long putts from 20 feet and out resulting in 3 putts are eliminated. Alignment aid works well. mis-hits on the face are reasonable with no distance loss. I found that 3 piece balls do not putt well as compared to 2 piece balls due to the urethane insert but tried the DFX version and had better results. My only problem was that 9 feet and in were difficult to control speed because I felt that the feel off the face was muted and I couldn't gauge the pace I had put on the ball (more user error I think). I recently switched to a Ping Craz-e and found that the Ping is great in all areas but long putts (25 feet and out) and mis the ease of long putts with the 2-Ball. Odyssey always has made great putters.

Over the weekend, I finally had a chance to test out the putter. It really helps a beginner golfer line up the putt easily. As well as the feel of the putter gets me to the pin with relative ease.

I would not believe it, but this putter has help me reduce a couple of strokes of my score.
