I bought this putter at golf galaxy during winter, hell for 25$ i thought why not. I would say im a decent putter with a 2 putter avg for a round. I got a fatso jumbo grip put on this putter and waited two weeks before i could go out and use it on a course and let me say it was well worth $25. First hole i had a left to right breaker from about 10-12 ft, i just wanted to get it within tap in distance and sure enough i sunk it in. I thought lucky putt, but after playing 9 i looked at my score card and had shoot a 42 with 14 putts, by far my best putting avg. With this putter it just seems like you dont have to put a lot of effort to get the ball there it just does it by itself. i would say anyone who is looking for a step up in a putting section, this putter is worth trying.

I've never been drawn to heel shafted putters. I never could get the feel opening and closing the putter blade with my old putter, so I concentrated on a straight back and through release. Recently on a whim at my local golf shop I picked up the XG-9. I began to putt and much to my surprise I made 14 in a row. I figured that it was a fluke because this was not my norm. I aimed at a different hole..made 6 more. Another hole...made 7...right to the register ! This putter is incredible (atleast for me). It basically swings itself and the insert feels awesome. It won't be leaving my bag for quite some time...give it a try..you might just surprise yourself.

Customer Service

Have been using this putter for about 1 year now , it is the best putter I have used.
Like the first reviewer I too walked into a golf shop & was drawn to it & was making every thing with it , but not with other putters ! I wasnt even looking for a putter but I had to have it, & I am glad I bought it.
It is very easy to line up & gives great feedback, one thing I have noticed is that the sweet spot is is a little closer to the heel than the alignment line on the bottom sugests.

I bought this in 2007, when I started to replace the clubs from my beginners set. My golf pro offered me to test all putters he offered and the White hot XG #9 won. Like stated before, it gives me a solid feedback and I miss less puts since it is in my bag. I also tested blades, 2 ball putters and others, but no one made me confident like this one.

This is one of the best putters I have ever had and I have a collection of over 50 putters. The only one I would put ahead of this in the feel catagory is my 1964 model of the Wilson 8802. The XG #9 has a soft but responsive feel that offers great feedback. The only thing I would change and this is just my personal preference is the standard grip. I prefer a mid-size pistol grip. If price is an issue you might want to consider the Cleveland Classic #2 that is currently available new in stores. I agree with every thing that the previous reviewer said about this putter.

Wow! Absolutely The very very best putter I have ever had in my bag it is almost hard tt miss putts with this thing. I have been putting with blade putters all my life. I have had a couple Cleveland blade putters the design by model, a tileist putter that was also similar to the 8802's. I had Red X right before I switched to the odyssey 877 which is their 8802 version which I have to say is an awesome putter too. But enough I got this #9 which I had been wandering into golf stores for a while and putting with one and man I just kept making them, they're easy to line they sit nice and I figured it was a fluke but I wanted one. Then I found one that was 33 inches and man I am rolling the rock again making Bombs and making everything inside 6 feet. Now if I would just take time to work on the rest of my game, I could play this game again the way I use to. This putter has made me want to play again I'm telling you if you cant putt with this thing your never gonna be able to putt. I hope I dont live to regret leaving this review I feel like I let a secret out the bag. No wonder Phil can putt!

Customer Service

No Need Probably would just go find another 33inch #9 not a fan of the Odyssey or Callaway Customer service
