By far the best putter I've ever used. I was trying out my friends White Hot #5 and I liked it alot. When I went to buy it I started hitting this one. I couldn't seem to miss with this one. It feels perfectly balanced. It's the easiest putter to line up I've used to date. I feel confident with it from about 6-8 feet. I've used it all summer before writing this review to make sure it wasn't just a good putting day for me when I bought it. Well it wasn't, I can tell my putting has improved with it. I've taken 3-4 strokes off this year and it's because of my putting. Can't see using anything else now.

Model Reviewed: Odyssey White Steel Rossi Putter

I lost my favorite putter, a trusty old Titleist blade, while on vacation so I was in the market for a putter. Putters are highly personal things so I went to the nearest quality golf shop and tried every putter in the store. It came down to a close choice between two putters --- the White Steel Rossi and a Taylor Made Rossa CGB blade putter.

I chose the Rossi for several reasons. It set up square every time and set up better for my putting stroke. I felt more comfortable with it at address, particularly lining up putts because of its true setup and because its alignment aids were better suited to my eye (I couldn’t line up a Two-Ball putter to save my soul.) Subjectively, it felt better at impact, the right combination between crispness (feel and feedback) and softness (control). By comparison, the Rossa was too crisp so I lacked control. I loved the face balancing on the Rossi. Most important of all, I sank a bunch of consecutive 6 six-foot putts with the Rossi on their putting mat, much better than any other putter.

Bought it and it lived up to its promise. With the Titleist, my maximum comfort range for straight putts was about 4 feet. Now my maximum comfort range is 6 feet and I get mildly annoyed if I miss a 10-footer. Also, my speed control has improved markedly, possibly due to the heavier club head and the improved feedback of the metal-in-polymer insert in the Rossa’s face.

Absolutly, hands down, the best feeling putter on the market. Suprisingly sensitive on faster greens without leaving you half a mile back on a missed one putt. I've never been one to read big left-to-rights or right-to-lefts without miss judging the speed. This thing can motor the ball really well, you can almost feel the ball come of the high end of the break and head straight for the cup. Can't seem to get it out my bag. Nothings de-throned it yet, and it dosen't appear anything will come close. I purchased the 35" and cut it down to 33" and put a new stock grip back on it. I lost the headcover, but with the way I'm hitting greens lately, who has time to keep it covered. Besides, this thing wants to play!!

Customer Service

Callaway is top notch in their customer service. Definately an industry leader in golf equipment.

This is the best mallet putter on the market...In a psychological sense I am more intimate with my putter than my wife...(probably because it looks nicer)The distance control is absolutely incredible...

This club has great feel and roll. I find that the lines on top of the putter head make alignment really easy. And with the feel of it I can now almost sink every putt, I feel like I'm unstoppable with this club.

I've been playing with a thin blade forever so I was looking for something that wasn't too bulky. I tried many putters over a couple weeks and found that for me this was the easiest to line up and hit straight. This club was also lighter than other similar clubs which I liked. Playing on the course it has great feel and I have much more confidence now in my ability to chip and putt in two shots. I'm hitting a higher % of my putts in from all lengths and my misses are much closer than they used to be. This putter is a little pricey, but is comparable to similar putters. The Ping Piper is very similar to this club, but I thought this one was lighter and had better feel to me.

One of the best putters ever. The ball rolls off of the face very nicely, and it seems like the ball knows where the hole is. Alignment is a snap, and the weight of this putter makes it easy to go straight back straight through.

Excellent putter. The sight alignment is perfect - better than anything else out there, even those new, giant putterheads. I can see the putting line instantly. Has a nice, solid feel. My two other putters go for over 300.00. This Odyssey is just as good as these, for 1/3 the price.
