the review of the ping b60 says something of an insert... mine is solid steel... either that person isn't playing the same putter or it maybe something later... no soft insert in mine.... I won this putter off a guy who bet but couldnt pay... on the 19th hole... I asked for 50 he gave me his putter... we all know it is worth much more...

people ask me all the time what my handicap is. My putter is my response, or my shudder as I called it. was on the prowl for something new and picked through about 40 putters at the store could not find a one worth anything, until i picked up the b-60. I nailed 9 out of ten on the practice green from about 10 feet away. bought it on the spot. got out the "real green" at my course laid out 14 balls in a circle at 8 feet and drained 10 of 14. same drill at 12 feet and 12 out of 14. This putter for me is SO easy to line up and the heavy weight makes it feel like it wont turn in your hand. Awesome putter and this will probably be the one for the rest of my life...

I saw it for under $30 and thought I'd give it a try. I thought it felt great and had a hard, but not steel, feel to it. I generally don't like composite insert putters, but this one was about the best feeling. The look is okay.

it will never replace my Scotty Cameron Red X, but since I travel a lot, I'll throw this one in for when I hit the road or in the sunday bag with my wife. Variety is good.

Customer Service

I once bought a Craz-E for some guy who broke the shaft for $20, gave it to a pro-shop to return to PING, and they re-shafted & gripped it for free. Can't beat the service. Contrast that to the pathetic service Scotty Cameron gives, and it's value goes way up.

Just traded a Odyssey white steel for the G2 B60. Took it to the putting grren and in minutes knew I finally had a putter that fit my game. It's deadly from 6 - 10 and I believe tyhe 3 putts are a thing of the past. Perfect weight for me, which is a bit heavier then most putters. Helps me control the backswing.

Customer Service

Not used, but I did send a G2 driver in for repair and had it back in a few days.

I had an original Ping B60 putter which I really liked. It was always so accurate. However, I found the head to be a bit too light and I had some trouble with getting my distance right. Eventually I put it aside and went on to other putters, many other putters. Recently, I decided to get the G2 B60 because it has a heavier head among other improvements. It was like having an old friend back but without that one irritating fault. The improvements made to this wonderful, classic, tournament winning putter, make it just about perfect in my opinion.

Customer Service

Excellent. Got it through World of Golf.

In short, buy it. Lines up very well, great balance and feel. Works on slow and fast greens. This is a classic putter that anyone can use and use well.
