I never thought I would use a center shafted putter, but this one has proven to be the best putter I have ever owned. I would definitely give it a try if you have a straight back & straight forward putting stroke. The insert provides immediate feedback on good/bad putts.

Customer Service

Purchased through TGW. I have never had any complaints with this club.

Model Reviewed: Ping G5 Mini C

In the last year since my return to golf after heart surgery, I have inundated myself with just about every new putter available in hopes for a miracle. In reality, a good lesson and lots of practice ultimately brought me to the Ping G5 Mini C. The G5 may not be the putter for everyone, but after much experimentation in during practice and tournaments under pressure, I found a putter that would consistently roll the ball straighter on all types of greens. I would say Confidence is the number one ingredience in putter and secondly good equipment. The Mini G5 from the getgo provided this. Feedback is immediate and allows me to know how I stroked the ball and make necessary corrections. Distance is extremely important in putting and once I look at the line, put it in my subconscience the G5 does it's job. From 30 Feet to 10 Feet the ball ends up as a tap in or gemmie. I used other other putters with alignment aids from the Scotty Cameron Futura, Odyssey 2 ball etc etc and found that the alignment features was distracting causing me to look at the putter on the back swing. Now, I look at the line, square up the putter and put a nice square stroke on the ball and the laser guidance system takes over. The center shaft really aids in alignment and almost seems to automatically return to the ball squarely. The less I have to think about the better the putt. After 3 months I have knocked off 3-4 puts per round. Enough Said!

Customer Service

I have always been a Ping user and the product is such that I never had to use Customer Service.

This is great putter for those of you that don't like an offset design. It has a heavier feel than most putters, but the weight helps in producing a nice true roll. Distance control is excellent, the alignment is not too busy and the feel of the insert is about medium - not too hard, or soft. This is my first center shafted putter design of this putter has helped my game a lot.

Customer Service

I picked this up at TGW. The service was EXCELLENT! I had originally bought the G5 B60. I didn't like it so I returned it for credit. Later,I picked up the Mini C from the Used and Returned section and also bought some golf balls w/ my credit. No problems at all.
