Strength:

Melrose Country Club, when the name comes to mind I think pure elegance. The course truly brings out all of the parts of the game. Around the green shots, Long straight drives and gorgeous par 3's. The maintenence is excellent! The fairway's and greens are always in top condition tstoto

Weakness:

none . . . .

This is the most consistent, best balanced putter I have ever used. The finish and detail are unequaled. They only made ten of these heavy heads at 355 grams in the BB1, BB1MS, BB8 without an insert. At 33" it is a D-3 swing weight. The nickel over soft carbon steel makes for a crisp but soft feel. When you use a Bettinardi you feel like you are using the same quality and detail to attention that tour players get. Also, these are one of the few putters still 100% made right here in the USA. If you want the best, Bettinardi is the one for you.

Basicly, im in high school and play for the varsity team. I can drive the ball straight, and put it on the green in regulation, but i seem to stuglle sometimes putting the ball in the cup in 1 or 2 strokes. Two weeks ago (with my Odyssey dual force 330) i had 7 fairways, 6 greens, and 3 3-putts. That was seriously lame. I have been secretly coveting a Bettinardi for about a year now, and finally stepped up to the plate and bought one. Im not sure if words can explain the exceptional roll and the softness of the copper insert. The course where i play has just trimmed the greens to a 8 stimp, and they are fast. If you play on fast greens, or just want to put it in the hole, the Bettinardi (Classic) series are the best money can buy!

Ask anyone an opinion of what putter to buy and they will tell you "it's such a personal choice". We all agree but thought I'd review this putter after playing with it a good part of the summer. This putter is stainless steel and when I first got it, I thought it felt no better than any other putter, well, maybe not any other but a quality steel putter. After getting my pendulum swing in great form and figuring out the right grip (courtesy of Geoff Mangum) and spending hours on how to hit the sweet spot, this turns out to be a fabulous putter. I find it very consistent for distance whether it's 6' or 30' (I walk off most all my putts). With the long plumbers neck it is very balanced. It is in the shape of the answer head but the stainless head is much more appealing to look at than a Ping I own...not knocking Ping. After figuring out (with the help of the Pelz folks) what length putter I needed, I made sure I got the correct length and at 32" I can now roll and nice natural putt. I consistently roll between 30-32 putts a round (I keep count) depending on how many greens I hit and have had a 28 putt round. These putters are expensive but once you get use to the feel, it's hard to go back to anything else.

Customer Service

The best customer service of any golf product I have yet to work with. Even with the high price, this takes the value rating to the limit.

In short, I invested a lot in this putter but it was worth every penny. I owned 9 putters at the time I bought this and was struggling with finding something I had confidence in, so finally decided to buy exactly what I was looking for with the quality of a Tour putter. They aren't cheap, but compared to a Cameron Tour putter the Bettinardi Tour putters are a steal and offer a greater variety to match what you prefer in a putter. Todd at tksputters was great to work with and is Bettinardi's outlet for their Tour Prototypes. The putter has a perfect balance and weight to it, and the technology combined with craftmanship can't be beat! By the way, I sold all of my other putters after getting my new Bettinardi!

BB41 - One of dad's unused putters still with plastic covering on the handle which I found at home. He had no idea what it was and where he got it. Switched my Tri-hot 2 for the BB412 last Sunday. I was amazed by the feel and the ability to roll my putts the correct distance. Every put I had was going towards the hole and those that missed didn't miss by much. I even made a couple of putts from just outside the green. The BB41 will now be permanently in my bag.

A rebuttal of an other review. I had putted with a cut-down (33") Kevin Burns 9305LN for 2 years prior to switching over to the BB1-MS Heavy, and have put the KB into the closet. No offense to KB Golf, which makes a terrific product, but the Bettinardi just has a better feel. When the KB's first came around they were about the same price as Bettinardi's ($300-$400 for the production putters). If you can get your hands on a Bettinardi Heavy putter...

Model Reviewed: Bettinardi BB1-MS

It’s too bad that someone who does not use this putter skewed the averages downward. Every one else gave this putter top marks. I went from a Rossie White Hot, that was an excellent putter, to this one. I spent an hour in a store putting with the BB1-MS before I made my decision. They had my old putter (Rossie White Hot) next to this so I could easily compare. If distance on putts is a critical element of scoring then this putter is the high priest of distance. Once you get a feel for the club, it gets you around the hole. No putter is as accurate for distance, in my opinion, as the Bettinardi. I have used Pings, Scotty Camerons, Rossie, White Hots and others. In fact it is not even close. This puttter enables you to roll the ball to the distance that you want. The aiming mechanism on this putter is easy to align. It is consistently accurate. If you do not hit the ball where you want it, then it is the puttee and not the putter. Yes it is shamelessly expensive; however, worth the money if you are serious about lowering your scores and not having less than 36 putts a round.

A true work of industrial art. You will be afraid to use it, but then you would be the fool. Great feel and top-line look. Your foursome will want to try it once they see it, a truly unique appearance. Make sure you don''t lend it for that 40 foot snake or they just may make it! If you want to stop three-putting this is the wand for you. It exudes confidence and the feel is the perfect balance between soft-feel but not too soft. The insert (BB1-MS) is softer than the regular BB1, but not by a super-sngnificant degree.

Customer Service

The best in the business, hands down.
