Scotty Cameron Red X2 Putters

Scotty Cameron Red X2 Putters

DESCRIPTION

The Red X2 has a straight, no offset shaft that is positioned just back of center. Players on Tour were asking for a traditional mallet so Scotty listened to what they were looking for and got to work and came up with two different designs for the “cabriolet.”

If im not mistaken Scotty Cameron came out with the original Red X & Red X2 design in 2004 and kept it in tact to 2006, in 2006 they also added the mid and long putters but left of the really cool edgeing and in 2007 removed the edgeing from the next previous models X3 & X5, with that said for me the Red X2 center shaft is the easiest putter to line up and gently tap the ball to its destination the four inch cup and we all love that sound. Now with any putter one has to use this golf tool, once you get the rhythm down the swing is effortless and the ball with a sound of Scotty Cameron authority which no other putter can come close to duplicateing rolls smooth and true, warning it will roll directly where you strike the ball on the face of the putter, the three lines to line up your put in the dip of the mallet behind the ball (another design left off on all other Red X putters except for the 04-06)is so easy and for me even better than the two ball and the shape and size of the mallet is not over powering.
In short I've tried everything out there and nothing for me dares to compare with the sight and ease of lineing up the sound, smooth roll and the results are very satifing.
2010 season my six year old Red X2 putter in a golf scramble went on a terror and knock down six straight birdy puts one uphill thirty footer and one off the green enough said if your struggleing on the greens check this out, can be bought still on Ebay very reasonable if you don't like it resale it no money lost, if your like me well send it off have it refinished with your person touch added and enjoy the look feel and satisfing results of haveing a very effective timeless putting tool that instantly gets noticed not by its looks but by its results.
Happy Golfing

This is an awsome putter, ive tried every putter out there and havent found any thing to replace it,i can honestly say this putter has dropped my average score frome the mid/high 80's to right around 80 and have shot in the 70's several times.i switched from a 2 ball, missing alot of short putts, but this has fixed that, very easy to line up,and nice compact mallet size like the old oddyseys, but a much better feel and sound, perfect!
