I bought Friday night and used for the first time Saturday morning. I had 7 one putts and 1 zero putt (putted from off the green). On the back nine I took 12 putts. From five feet in, I felt I could sink everything. The sound, feel, and roll of the ball coming off the blade gave me a lot of confidence.

Model Reviewed: Daytona CGB AGSI

It's actually ironic...last year I had the Rossa Modena putter which I traded in for an Odyssey White Steel 2 ball (which I really think is over rated), then I traded that in for an Odyssey White Steel Rossie (good looks but something about it bugged me) which finally I traded in for the Daytona, which is very similar to last years model with the exception of the AGSI and increased MOI. I love this putter. The putter puts a very smooth roll on the ball and has great feel-I can't say that it is because of the AGSI technology but whatever TM is doing they are doing it right. In the last 3 months I have tried almost every putter from every brand and finally have found the one. Because of all the hype and media attention that mallets (specifically the 2 ball style) had me believe that super mallets would improve my putting immensely. I just did not have luck with any mallets and now realize that I am a blade guy and this is the blade for me. Looks good, feels good but plays even better. Scotty may currently own the market and the tour but Taylor is making waves by making high end putters at a reasonable price ($300 putters, you have to be kidding).

I used this putter for the first time today and I am very pleased. I have only been playing since the end of August, and been using a $20 job. I would 4 put quite often and I would practice all the time with no improvement. I picked up this putter and once I got used to it I immediately began to putt much better. The ball rolls very nice off the face and holds the line very well. Distance control is great and it has a nice soft feel. The Agsi insert helps the roll quite a bit from what I have tried with other putters. I think this putter is great. Made some great putts with it today. It really did make a difference. And all of this is coming from someone who said "It doesn't matter on what putter you use". I was mistaken. Before I used to dread putting because of continous 3 and 4 putts Blah!! Now I was actually excited to putt since I was acutally making good putts!! If you are looking for a new putter go give this one a try at your local golf shop.

I just received this as a gift and am very pleased with it's performance and feel. I have used the ping anser and the oddeysey white hot anser style model, so the look of this isn't much of a departure but the way it rolls the ball is so much better. My distance control seems to be better than with the other two putters that I have used. I don't change putters very often. This is my third putter in 30 years. I believe it has more to do with the person holding the putter than the equipment but this is a major improvement over the other equipment that I have used over the years.

I got to use this putter this past weekend. It took me 2-3 holes to get use to it. The putter has a softer feel than i'm use to but when I got the feel down I started to make better putts. On the practice green I compared my 2 putters and the AGSI insert does help forward roll. It left less skids on the dew covered surface than my other putter. It's also a little heavier which I had to get use to. Over all it's a good putter but not worth $130. Try to find it on sale.
