I was going to get the Rossie II, and when I saw the Nubbins, it caught my eye. I tried it, and the feel was great. I could judge the distances very well. My friend preaches his Isopur like no other, and I am making more putts that him. Similar Products Used: The Rossie II from Odyssey |

It's all around a great putter, and I love the feel and control of it. I have seen a lot more one putts since this club has been in my bag. Similar Products Used: Ping A Blade, Ping Answer 2F |

I loved this putter in the store because of the feel to it. But after a while the feel is annoying and now I want something that actually has ""feel"" to it. I cannot control distances and I cannot putt with it. I did a lot better with my 40$ putter. |

I demo'd this putter and liked it a lot. Has great balance and feel. I still prefer the Odyssey, but this putter is right up there. |

Whenever I think of putters, Taylor Made has never made my top 10 until now. This putter has wonderful feel, is beautifully crafted and gives me the confidence to play my best on greens with stimp ratings over 10. Initially, despite the wonderful feeling this putter gave, I was concerned that the insert would mute a lot of the feel, but in contrary it did the opposite. It feels soft yet communicative and its substantial yet reasonable weight allows you to focus on aim versus the amount of force you require on longer putts. Within a ten foot range, it gives you the confidence to think that the putt is makable. The insert also gave me concerns because my previous Odyssey putters, although good, required to be struck at precise impact points because if I hit the ball low (just off the turf which I prefer), I could occasionally hit the metal portion of the putter above the insert and greatly affect the shot. The Nubbins has a taller striking area that assures you hit the insert only. This fact alone allows me to think of my putt and not how I have to hit my putter. I also thought my Ping Anser 3 was the answer but Taylor Made just came up with a better solution. Congratulations on a great product Taylor Made! Sincerely, Robert Similar Products Used: Ping Anser 3, Odyssey Dual Force 550 and 990 |
