Titleist Futura Phantom Putters

Titleist Futura Phantom Putters

DESCRIPTION

The new Futura Phantom takes design to the edge for optimal performance. The Futura Phantom has a new black anodized finish providing better contrast for the simplified single sightline on the top rail. The Futura design has a unique weight distribution with 75% of the weight being in the stainless "horseshoe" and 25% being in the face and body. This combination of balance allows the Futura to perform like no other putter we have ever tested. The design was further refined in '05 to create optimal performance.

The Futura Phantom certainly is an evolution from the original all silver Futura. The putter sits squarely on the ground and is very easy to align. In fact, it might be the easiest putter to align of any putter. The weighting and ballance are excellent and I don't think that Scotty Cameron could do anything to further improve it!

This is one exciting putter for me. I have struggled recently on the greens, even switching to putting from the opposite side to try and solve my problems. Then I found this gem. It can be a little hard to adjust to if you are used to classic styled putters, but do yourself a favor and try one of these for about 10 minutes. Then do yourself a favor and find a good used one, cause this sick ain't cheap. If you favor a true pendulum stroke, there is no other putter out there that is better. Trust me, I have tried them all.

Maybe its ugly ... But after a few putts, it becomes more and more beautiful. Simply because with this putter, you hole at least 50% more putts. The sound is GREAT, The feel is GREAT, and most important ... THE SCORE IS GREAT :-)

At first sight, very ugly. But when I tried it, a beauty. If your looking for a true pendulum stroke; this is the putter. I would compare it for the feeling to the Ping DOC 17 but of course smaller and easier to carry in the bag. Cameron knows putter!!!

I'm happy to be the first to give this great putter 5 stars - I won't be the last. I just played my first round of the last 7 years and used this great putter. On the back nine (we won't talk about the front - I mentioned it was the first round in the last 7 years, didn't I? )... Anyway, on the back I only used 15 putts, thanks in large part to this putter. This putter? Expensive. 3 1 putts on the back nine? Priceless!
