I recently picked a Red X2 in an effort to improve my putting, I had reputation as someone who hits the ball like a scratch golfer but putts like a hacker. well that has all changed now. I have dropped 3 strokes in the last month (down to 7.6 from 11.4) and now all the guys i play with want a RED X2. I never thought that the money you have to fork out for a Scotty Cameron was worth it but now I have changed my mind. The ball rolls better, comes off the face like nothing else, feels weighted perfectly (35" shaft) and just plain sits mint at address. Last comp round I drained 3 putts over 45' and I have not 3 jabbed in the last month playing 3-4 times a week. The ball comes off so good I can't believe it and no this is not a Titleist advertisement.

Purchased the Cameron Red-X2 putter from my Club Pro Shop. Got it home on the carpet and the head promptly fell off. The pro called titliest who is shipping a new one out right away. Demo putters ,though, were wonderful to putt with. Good speed control and solid feel. Natural setup and beautiful balance. Guess glitches happen to everyone, but you have to wonder about all the hype for the Cameron putters regarding quality control. Somebody was asleep at the switch when they made this one.

Customer Service

Will let you know how responsive they are. Haven't gotten a response from them since I wrote to complain. Guess they're not that interested.

I paid about $200 for this putter on Ebay- that is the most I have ever paid for a club and wondered why I did it. I think putting is mostly stroke and concentration but it matters how you feel about your putter. This piutter sets up beautifully and feels wonderful. My distance control with it is amazing- it just feels right. It is not a miracle worker but I make more of those pesky 4-6 footers to save par than with any putter I have used. Putters are the most personal club in the bag, so I don't really feel comfortable recommending one, but this one works really well for me and looks great for a traditional mallet. (I have always used blades in the past.)

The Scotty Cameron Red X putter got my immediate attention when I made 8 of my first 15 putts from 10 to 15 feet the first time I tried it. Reality did set in as the results started to even out but the misses felt different than with my other putters. I experienced none of the putter face vibration or twisting I'd get with blade putters. Every putt felt solid. They all came off the face on line. In short, even though they didn't all go in, they all felt like they could have gone in. The white lines make it easy to line up putts, the putter head comfortably sits on the putting surface and feels like it lines itself up for you. This is my 3rd Scotty Cameron putter. Money very well spent.

A hobby of mine is to collect putters and when the Red X came out, I had to own it so that it would compliment my 4 other Cameron putters. Without question, the Cameron's are the pride and joy of my collection and the Red X has quickly endeared itself to me. In summary, a very nice putter since it frames the ball nicely and gives you an excellent perspective on your putt. Ironically per the the previous reviewer, I also found this putter also works better on the golf course than it does on my practice rug (thankfully!!!). The build quality and feel is typical Cameron....solid, well engineered and top quality. Despite the premium price, I believe Cameron products are fairly priced and the Red X will capably continue the strong legacy that Scotty has built. Highly recommended!

I putted with this a few times in the store before pulling the trigger and it seeems to me to perform and feel better out on the course! I suppose the 50 footer that I made from the fringe during my first round and the 12 total putts I had on the front nine adds to that! The thing that I like best about this putter is how it sits beautifully square behind the ball at address! I know that these (and all cameron's) are a bit pricey but when you see and feel all that goes into a putter of this quality (check out the slideshow at the website) then it only makes sense that they would cost more! I picked one of these up brand new for $225 and believe that it is worth every penny! If you are interested in hearing where I got this price shoot me an email!

Customer Service

I have needed titliest customer service when I had two of their golf bags break. They came through and sent me a new bag! I have found that most major companies do a great job standing behind their products!
