This is a great putter! Great feel, great balance and very clean looking. The putter has a very true roll. Low center of gravity makes the ball roll very true. When holding the putter it just feels right. Love the headcover, screaming yellow! Just screams steel me if you are not careful. The downside is the putter will reflect the sun right in your eyes! Plus, baby oil is needed to keep the putter from rusting. Not a big deal, however, that took me by surpise with all the putters I have owned. Since owning a Scotty Cameron, I see why everyone who owns one becomes hooked. Price always seemed to stop me, thinking that it was a joke. I have learned alot as it seems about 100% of the tour uses a Scotty Cameron. So, there must be something to owning a SC. Can't wait to check out the Futura.

To all you golfers out there, looking for the magic putter that's going to shave another 5 or 6 strokes off your game, you will be greatly disappointed if you dish out the cash for a Scotty Cameron. In fact not one single putter will ever do this for your game. What will work however, is a proper set up and a very solid putting stroke, that you can always go to, especially for those extremely long yards known as 3 foot putts. That said, why did I purchase a Scotty Cameron and why did I give it a five star rating? 1) Reputation: I always dreamt of owning one of these babys. Since my golf bag was stolen and the insurance company reimbursed me, I decided to buy a Cameron. This is the most expensive club in my bag right now. My driver cost about $100 Cdn less. 2) Looks: I simply love the way the SC Studio Design 1 looks at address. No distracting lines when I look down at the putter addressing the ball. I like the nice slim look. That way I can focus on stroke mechanics and not the lines or the two balls of the Odyssey or the three circles of the Futura, etc… Other golfers may welcome these alignment aids. Not me. 3) Weight: After having tried out over 50 style putters during a period of two weeks I kept on coming back at the Cameron. Conclusion: Do buy this putter if you really want to, but don't expect miracles. Good lessons and/or good study guides will be your salvation. My personal favorite is Dave Pelz's Putting Bible.

This putter is incredible. The feel, control, and feedback are unparalelled. I agree with previous reviewers that it is money well spent based on the number of strokes involving your putter in the course of a round. Easy setup and alignment. Simple elegance. One drawback is the inevitable rust that pops up unless you wipe it dry and oil it regularly. I have had mine less than a year and already will need to have it refinished. But, I've learned my lesson and will take good care of this stroke-saving beauty. Scotty Cameron will provide the service in the near future for about $40. Otherwise, if taken care of, it is awesome. NOTE: New for 2003, Cameron has black putters that don't rust.

Customer Service

Website is informative. Looking forward to the implementation of refinishing services.

Gentleman, this has got to be the best buy I ever had. For years, I would buy the expensive driver and turn around to purchase a cheap putter. Wrong thing to do! Drive, for show, put for dough! When putting, I could FEEL the ball leave the face! The balance is awsome! It's worth the money I spent. It looks so beautiful, I realy don't want to use it! If I ever left it out on the course, I would have to buy another one the next day!

Received this putter as a Christmas gift year before last. What a tool. After a few weeks of putting on the living room floor, it started to feel like an extension of my hand. Excellent feel and feedback. Makes you putt better. You have to hit it solid to have a good result. I didn't make more putts with it last year, but I didn't 3 putt near as much. Distance control is amazing. With more practice my scores should break 80. My buddies are always amazed that I have a $200 putter. Why spend all your money on woods and irons that you may hit at most 10-12 times a round. Get yourself a good putter that will get the ball in the hole. That's the name of the game.

Top notch

I'm a "Lefty" by nature so naturally I don't have access to very many new products that come out. The local pro-shop/Driving range in my city just recently had their annual "Demo Day" which is always a "Lefties" best hope to try the new stuff on the market. As usual, there wasn't that much to try out but there was enough to keep me busy. Most reps appologized for not having brought their latest "lefty" clubs or said they were coming out at a later date...yada, yada, yada...same story every year. Being fairly content with my current set of irons & woods (Ping ISI-T Driver,Kasco k2k #3wd, #5 & #7 steelhead II fairway woods, TM 320's 4-9iron, 48deg., 52deg.& 56sand Vokeys and an Odyssey White Hot putter. Sooo....I was walking through the Titleist tent to get a free hotdog & coke when I saw a bag in the back with a few putters in it (all "Scotties"). I noticed a HUGE silver headcover with "FUTURA" on it..figuring it was the one that Mickleson & Hoch use, I just wanted to see how "Funky" it looked in person. I pulled the headcover off and stared at it for awhile till I noticed it was a "LEFTY"!!![there wasn't even a "Righty"] WOW! I had to go try this baby out pronto! The Pro-shop has a nice putting green so I grabbed a few balls and away I went. I NEVER....EVER would have thought of plopping down $300 for a putter..... till I putted with this putter!! It is an amazing piece of equipment to say the least...the feel alone is ALmost worth the price. But the accuracy....OH MY GOD!! The way it sets up is genius also...sort of like a "3-ball Odyssey" but even better! And it tracks back and through like its on a rail. Distance control was scary. I putted for at least an hour switching from my White-Hot to the Futura trying to make sure it wasn't my imagination. The biggest difference was on putts inside 10 ft. it was magical indeed! Distance control and feel were FAR superior as well. They are supposedly making a limited number...mine will be in by April 15th. KUDOS Scotty....

This an a amazing putter! I'm 14 years old and love golf. I've gone into stores and tried out so many different putters, and this is the one of the best. It is a beautiful looking putter too, with a black finish on it. The feel is so nice and is not matched by an other putter I've tried. If you get this, you won't be dissappointed at all!

I have the Studio Design 2. I love the look of the putter... especially when looking down on it. The perpendiclar line is very helpful to me. The putter is the softest I have ever felt. Including many putters with inserts. Honestly, if you are thinking about this putter, just buy it... you won't regret it at all.

I would stay putting is nearly the strongest and the most consistent part of my game. This is a great putter, from weight, balance, looks, to feel. The price is the only thing I can't handle. If $ is no object, then this would be a sure have.
