After a few years of thinking people must be insane to spend $250 for a putter, I spent a morning at the local golf store sampling every putter you can think of. Suffice it to say that after a several hundred putts I now see why so many tour players are using Cameron putters. The weight, balance, and feel are outstanding.

My main reason for writing this review is for comparison. I owned an Odyssey White Hot 2-Ball Blade putter prior to the Scotty. I found the 2-Ball to be too heavy, and I found myself closing the face too early because of the weight of the head, resulting in lightning-fast pulled putts. I was between the Scotty and the Callaway Tour Blue TT1. Since I was in search of a lighter, confidence-inspiring putter, and because the Scotty felt lighter than the Callaway, I went with the Scotty. I know it's a little absurd that my putter costs more than my used irons and driver combined, but it's worth it! I rarely three-putt, and I find that I'm making about 40% more putts inside of 10 feet. This putter is worth every penny! The feel, the sound, the response, everything is SOLID. The red grip and multi-colored headcover are a bit obnoxious, but hey, when you drain a double-breaking 25-footer for birdie, the haters can kiss my grits.

Customer Service

Haven't had to use it yet. I will say this: I traded in my 2-Ball at the Golfsmith near Mall at Millenia in Orlando, FL. The 2-Ball's head broke off the shaft at the hozel when the manager dropped it on the ground to test its condition. Golfsmith STILL gave me about $20 more on trade than if the putter was in excellent condition. Those guys are great!
