Titleist Scotty Cameron Studio Stainless Putters

Titleist Scotty Cameron Studio Stainless Putters

DESCRIPTION

The Studio Stainless collection is the newest generation of putters from Scotty's Studio. Milled entirely from 303-stainless steel, these putters have a distinct sound and feel, and are virtually maintenance free. The graphics and red color scheme are inspired by Scotty’s interest in 50’s era design. Studio Stainless putters include different hosel positions, slightly wider soles for a confidence inspiring setup, sole draft angles to ensure the putter never sits closed and a bead blasted finish to eliminate glare. Studio Stainless putters are all about performance and look as good as they perform.

I have tried many, many putters in my day. I guess most golfers do and I decided to stay with Scotty Cameron putters many years ago. I putted good and was using the new 2008 model and have for two years now. (Weight Screws in the bottom.) In my closet, I had a new Studio Stanless I had never used. So, I took it our for a few rounds. Wow, what a nice putter. Ligher, only 330 G head, but to me the top line is thinner and the blade longer. Plus the trailing edge relief (you can see it and feel it on the putter) makes it very hard not to aim the putter correctly or catch it on the turf. My speed control is great and I am making a lot of putts. Well, who says newer is better!

Customer Service

I have sent putters to Scotty to have them checked for loft lie each year. Service is great. I only trust them.

Well, like others here, I finally gave in and forked over the $$$ for a Cameron. Mine is the Studio Style Newport 2.5, 303 SS with a 303 insert and the 4 color dots on the back with the hex screws. I was really luck in that a guy I paired up with sold me one like new for $125... VG deal. This putter is one I should have gone to years ago. I kept screwing around with MANY different putters, all sorts of styles and lengths and designs... what a waste. Rather than spend the bucks on a fancy driver, do yourself a favor... buy a Cameron. You might not think it is worth it, and an Odyssey or Ping is just as good. For me, they were not close. Buy the Cameron that suits your eye and feel, and keep it for years, and your putting will be as good as it is going to be. I love the solid feel, balance, sight lines... great distance control. I have so much confidence in this putter... if I miss it is ME missing, not the putter. What else can you ask of a putter? Give in! Fall in love! :-)

Putter designs come and go, the mallet is in, then out, some have coloured inserts, many have balance weights, triangular backs, grooved faces, some even have balls for alignment! But this one remains simple and is still the KING. For all those who chop and change every year (and often many times a year), like I did, take a deep breath and hand over the cash... They have great feel and balance. Your putting will improve. Your three putts will be all but eliminated and your confidence will grow. The top pro's use these for a reason.... Very little tour std equipment will improve the average club golfer, we simply don't have the swing, strength or skill to use it. But these are different. Buy one and be delighted

I rented a set of clubs at the Palm course that included a Stainless Newport 2, after about 9 holes., I was impressed. I came home & picked up a Newport for $140 off of ebay. After a week, I've all but eliminated 3 putts. It's wieght, balance & feel are perfect for me.

Based on the famous Ping Anser, this putter is hard to beat. Distance control is second nature, I had this putter dialed in in about 30 minutes of practice. It looks great and feels great but the distance control is out of this world. There's a reason Ernie and Tiger and countless others use this putter and you don't have to play like them to realize why.

This putter really instills confidence in the person who uses it. It feels solid at address and the weight/balance promotes a smooth, natural stroke, as opposed to jabbing at the ball. At first, it took a little getting used to, because it felt very different from the Rossie that I'd been using for awhile. But after a few outings to the putting green, I'm nailing putts like never before. The only thing that I would say is that the grip feels a little scrawny in my hands, but that's personal preference. I wanted to change it out, but I've been encouraged not to, since it'll impact the balance of the putter. It's an expensive putter, but the value is certainly there. If I were to ever lose or break mine, I'd buy another one just like it.
