This was my favorite for years, owing to the great feel and the "touch". Very easy to get the distance just right. But it is not forgiving of off center hits by even a little bit. I tried Pings and Callaways, Odyssey and Bullseye, but kept coming back to the 8802. Now I use the Never Compromise Delta. Almost (but not quite)the same touch, but more accurate and forgiving.

If you value feel and touch over forgiveness, this is the one to have. I see no difference between the older original model I have and the newer one. I also have an 8813 (similar, but with alignment lines)copy in stainless. With my eyes closed I can't tell the difference in feel. So much for the mystique of chrome plated carbon steel over stainless.

Easy to describe. Tough to get on-line. Allways to far or to close. Bad feel. Not for the amateur who doesn't putt well.

I love this puter more than anything. I picked it up a couple weeks ago in the store, and promised myself that if I made all four balls that I had with me on the practice green, I would buy it. With one practice stroke, I immediately sunk all four putts, one after the other. I was amazed, and I walked out with it--a steal at only $80.

I love this putter. It allows me to not think about my stroke and just react to what I see. I am holing more putts now than ever. Not very forgiving, but not nescessary with a putter.

I like the putter; it has a great feel to it, but the milled series is very hard to take care of. Mine now has white spots all over it, I recommend this putter for good putters because it is not heel/toe weighted.

I learned how to putt all over again when I purchased the 8802 at the beginning of the golf season. I no longer rely on the putter, but rather on feel, to succeed in avoiding those nasty 3 putts. It feels and looks fantastic. I recommend the 8802 to anyone who has lost their putting skill due to the ""fashion"" putters that are all the craze.

A wonderful simple putter with great feel. Rewards a solid putting stroke. Not forgiving on off center hits, but it''s the most natural feeling putter that I have used. Played a round with the putter before buying it.
