These clubs have knocked 3 or 4 shots off a round for me....not sure I write anything better about them.

Although they are the first wedges I've ever bought, so I guess I can't compare them against other wedges out there. (used to spend all my money on drivers until I figured it was all in the short game!)

Wow what a great set of wedges. Quality build and the shots these clubs produce are pretty much as good as they get. You can pay more for a more name brand wedge if you want...But these Tom Watson wedges from Adams are just as good as the big dogs. Highly recommend!

Customer Service

I love Adams Golf, and I love their clubs. I've never had any problems with them.

Good wedge, but dont plan on getting much spin on the ball. This gets it in the air and rolls a little bit but you wont spin it a signifigant amount. Dont think that its just me, I spin the ball a lot, more with a 7 iron than I do with this wedge. I hit it about 80-85 yards which isnt bad for a 60 degree wedge, but I would rather have a raw, black or gunmetal wedge, i have MUCH more control with them.

I just got back in the game and was looking for some cheaper clubs to play. I picked up the gunmetal gap and sand wedges. I really like these clubs. They are very well made and look great at setup. I have hit the gap wedge alot and it is my favorite clup in the bag. I hit these just as good, if not better than my old Cleveland and Titleist wedges.

Model Reviewed: Adams Tom Watson Wedge Set

I have been playing golf off and on for 18 years now, and just recently rediscovered my love of the game. Out went my cruddy old St. Andrews' clubs in place of a Top Flite HCT Tour set, but wanted to fill a noticable gap in the short irons for my game. I'd been shopping around for a while, then came across this little gem of a set. They play great from 80 yards-in, and are very responsive. I'm a slicer by nature and need to use 2-piece balls, but these clubs can make the balls dance on the greens like 3 or 4 piece balls. Flop and lob shots are a breeze with the Gap, chips are easy to line up and gauge speed and roll with the Sand wedge, and bunker shots arc beautifully out of the sand with the Lob wedge. These clubs have added some serious confidence to a part of my game I have struggled with alot these last few years. I highly recommend these clubs for mid to high handicappers, but even low handicaps could probably find room in their bags for these. If you want top notch clubs, but you shop on a budget, these babies are a no-brainer. They perform as good as single clubs twice the price of the 3 club set!

Best value in golf hands down. I was looking to replace my old L wedge and sand wedge and came across these. I ended up getting the set as a gift and was amazed at how good they are. My old L wedge was actually a Cleveland 588. The adams was actually slightly lighter which felt better form me. It also had a slightly longer shaft (maybe 1/2 inch). I would abolutely recommend these to anyone even if they were the same price as the other major brands. But at a set of 3 for 80-100 buck that is a serios deal.

Model Reviewed: Watson by Adams Gunmetal 3 Wedge System

I purchased the 2005 Watson 3 Wedge System in the new Gunmetal finish for $99.00. This has to be on the best values currently available. The clubs included are a 52 degree (7*bounce), 56 degree (13* bounce) and 60 degree(7*bounce) wedge. As you can see the range of bounce available allows for all types of sand and fairway conditions, 7* bounce for tight hardpan shots or 13* bounce for soft sand conditions. The clubs are well made, with the new gunmetal finish providing a nice pre-shot presentation against the ball with no glare. I have had really good success with these clubs and have gained a lot more confidence/ability in my short game. Just a note, the pre-2005 stainless steel Watson wedges are now on closeout in a lot of stores and offer a slight different bounce configuration of 8*, 10* and 7*. Personally, I'm glad Adams decided to include the 13* bounce angle this year for soft sand conditions.

Customer Service

Adams is always helpful, all of there products offer great value and quality.

I just recieved the gunmetal 52 gap wedge which is sneaky good. This club has a fairly small profile, but you don't really need the bulk of a large club in a wedge, i guess the box set is pretty much the same as the gunmetal ones that will be out soon. I wouldn't underestimate adams they still make a good product!

Picked up these two clubs on close-out at the local Target store for $15.00 each. What a find!! After replacing the grips with some tour velvets they play like top line clubs. I was looking to replace my worn out cleveland wedges and thought these would hold me over til i found a better set.... after droping 4 from over 20 yrs out over the last 7 rounds I'd sooner fight than switch. Very nice feel and I find them responsive and smooth thru most conditions. A great head and nice overall feel with the steel (no graphite tip) true temper shaft. Lose the grip and put on something a little better and your looking at a quite useful tool.
