Very easy to use, forgiving. Not super soft feel, but good feedback. Just clips the ball off the grass. This club really gets the job done. Very surprised at the excellent performance, but then again its a Cleveland wedge. Highly recommend.

My wedge search is over. I had the CG11 model last year and gave them up for more of a "players" wedge. After some experimentation, I decided I wanted something that had the same feel as the CG11 so I went with the CG14 52* and 56*.

My game has improved over the past year so I can't attribute my overall perception totally to the wedges. However, they inspire confidence and when dialed in, they seem to serve as a GPS for the ball.

Unfortunately, conditions have been unfavorable due to a lot of rain so I don't have much detail about spin and play out of firm lies. They have worked wonders for me off the mushy fairway, tightly packed bunkers, and thick, wet rough.

I can't imagine any wedge better than this. It makes all my others obsolete, including the Vokey SM. Some don't like the looks but I find them very appealing but were talking about performance and IMO nothing beats the CG14 in terms of feel, forgiveness and overall playability. They stop the ball on a dime and are very versatile. Once you play them, especially on the course, they will be in your bag, for sure.

Just purchased this club 2 weeks ago and practiced with it for about 1 hour in a short game area and played one 18 hole round. So far I really like it. I have the 56*. Very easy to hit and very forgiving. I have been able to use it successfully around the green as well as from the fairway. I have the 14* bounce model and the course that I played on was extremely dry and almost hardpan in the fairways and to my surprise I was still able to get this club airborne. It cuts through the rough beautifully and really stars from the sand. I am not much of a bunker player, but I have found it much easier to play out of the sand with this club. I have not even noticed that the yellow insert in the back of the clubface is there (I have heard some complain about it). I didnt find it distracting at all. I dont see any reason why golfers of any level couldnt use and enjoy this club. This is my first Cleveland wedge and I am quite pleased.

awesome wedges, fits perfectly with my Ping G10s. These are great from the fairway, but they really shine around the green. These replaced my taylor made wedges and there is no comparison between the two. The taylor mades are gone for good. The feel and sound of these clubs is perfect. Really nice club.

I have been using these wedges for about 6 months now and man, they are nice. I was using ping tour wedges previously which were alright but I never felt like I could get any spin on them and just didn't feel comfortable over the ball. The yellow insert on the Clevelands is kind of an eye sore but when your over the ball you can't. The 60 is by far my favorite club in my bag. If I'm a 100 yards out I can put a full 60 on the green and if I'm just off the green I can chip it close. I definitely recommend these wedges to anybody looking for new ones. Check out ebay, I got the 54 and 60 for only $150 brand new. Great price for a really good set of wedges.

I have been playing with a cheapo 60 degree for many years. In fact, I reviewed it on this site and I may be the only person to review a club made by Knight. I've always thought "Wedges are Wedges". After buying this Cleveland I know that I'm correct. It did not out perform my $9 Knight wedge. It isn't a bad club, but the level of technology improvement in wedges is very small. Only replace your wedge if the grooves are worn out. I will be returning this club to Golfsmith.

Well to start off these wedges took a little getting used to for me. One they are about a 1/2 inch longer than the Cleveland 588 wedges I have played with for years. Two they feel really light in your hands. I preffer a heavier wedge myself. As far as the feel to the club, I havent found any difference in these wedges that I didnt have in my Cleveland 588 wedges. I do like that they stuck with the traditional heads. The clubs look very good at setup. Maybe they will take some time to get used to, I have played 12 rounds with them so far.

Just traded my Callaway Forged Plus wedges for these (Cleveland CG-14 Black Pearl). I had bought the 52, 56 and 60 wedges. They have excellent feedback in grass and bunker. The bite and action is phenomenal. I can go straingt at the pins with these. The clubs feel a lot lighter than my old Callaway Forged Plus Chrome Wedges. Recommended for those who like to attack the pins and see some action. I also use Callaway HX-Tour balls and the combination is fantastic. Hope this helps.

I swapped out my older cleveland attack and lob for the CG 14s. i went with the 60 degree high bounce and the 50 degree standard bounce. I played 9 holes at Fraserview in Vancouver yesterday and instantly im loving these wedges. I did add midsize grips which i didnt have before and im glad i did. These wedges are confidence inspiring. They put a tonne of spin on the ball so i am adjusting where i target my shots. I find some ball types with thin covers will chewed up pretty easy if you hammer. Buy what gives you confidence because this game is half psychological.
