Cleveland 588 GunMetal 56 drgree
The company claims that the gunmetal is a softer metal than steel that will wear and rust over time, increasing both the feel and spin benefits of the club. While I haven't had the club long enought to comment on the rusting aspect, mine has started to wear. It isn't a negative at all either. The dark coating gives way to a dark metal with a dull shine beneath, pretty cool actually. As far as the gunmetal itself, I have to agree with the company's claims. The feel is noticeably softer than my chrome gap wedge and it seems to spin a bit more than my previous 56 degree sand wedge. If you presently play an RTG, I wouldn't necessarily recommend a change. The eventual performance benefits, once the club rusts, may be minimal. However, if you currently play a chromed wedge and would like some extra feel in a softer metal along with the added increased spin benefits of the eventual rusting, check this wedge out. Whew, run-on sentence! Overall, a very nice wedge with terrific feel and performance and one I would recommend to all. Similar Products Used: Plenty |

Fantastic lob wedge. Easy to hit. Great feel, generates lots of spin. Not as much bounce as my previous lob wedge, so much easier to hit from tight lies. Similar Products Used: None |

These are some of the best clubs on the market. They do exactly what they were made to do. I would suggest the 52 to anybody. The 56 is great for soft, high sand shots and knock downs; the 60 knocks it straight up. It will do anything you want. If you don't have any go get them; they will knock at least 4 strokes off your game in 2 rounds. |

The best wedges available. I highly recommend that you stick them in a sink full of water overnight when you get them so that you can proactively start the rusting. The rust really does add an extra degree of bite. My only negative is that the yellow "RUST WARNING" sticker is a pain to get off and my wedges still have it after 3 months. Awesome clubs. Better feel and control than chromed wedges. There is a reason these wedges are played by pros, they are the best unless you want to spend $200+ on a non-chromed Titleist. Buy the Cleveland. |

56* Cleveland TOur Action 588 RTG
This is the best wedge that I have ever played. I easily gets balls out of any lie and consistently puts great spin on the ball. From 50 yards I can consistently land it with ten feet! The rust is great for enhancing spin and feel. I also like how the head feels, slightly lighter than others. Flop and finesse shots are simple. Getting out of bunkers is very easy and the club works great in all types of sand. Full swings fly straight and high and stop immediatly on greens. Everything just works with this club. I really love it. My handicap has decreased rapidly since I first put the RTG in my bag. I wrote such a long report on this club because it deserves the gratitude as being THE best sand wege on the market. If you really want to improve your score and have more confidence from 100 yards and in, I strongly recommend this club. Please, try one and see what I mean. Similar Products Used: Many |

Cleveland 588 RTG
Cleveland's RTG is the best wedge available to the general consumer... "chrome-less" finish creats very soft feel and awesome spin. ...much more so than other wedges. A tremendous number of tour players are now using Cleveland RTG models and Titleist's "Vokey design" wedges... however those useing the Titleists (Tiger included) are playing custom "chrome-less" models that aren't offered in stores. Great move by Cleveland to mass produce the RTG and bring the great performance factors of a rusty face to regular consumers. The lack of chrome, and rusty face makes a difference because Rust is far more abrasive than chrome, hence the ball sticks to it better and spins a great deal more. This is a great wedge. It has a wonderfull feel and looks just great. From 120 yards and in I now have the confidence to attack the flag and know that the ball will stop or backspin. The feedback that you get from the RTG wedge is unsurpassed. Similar Products Used: Titleist Vokey, Cobra Trusty Rusty. |

This is a great wedge. Nice trajectory, distance, and spin. The rusting of the wedge gives the ball that extra bite needed(don't get mad if it rusts too fast, that's what it's supposed to do!) Similar Products Used: None |
