Cobra C Series Wedges

Cobra C Series Wedges

DESCRIPTION

The Mid-Sole C wedges are designed to offer the perfect balance of forgiveness and versatility. The Wide-Sole C Wedges have an even wider sole width with increased bounce - providing ultimate forgiveness. Both wedges feature an undercut design, which allows for weight to be distributed to the perimeter of the clubhead for increased forgiveness. And to enhance feel, the C Wedges utilize a deep undercut urethane insert.

I previously owned Titleist Vokey 52/56 wedges and were happy with them except I shanked shots with these clubs all the time. I think that my current game calls for wedges that are more forgiving with a larger face. The Cobra C series wedges were just the clubs I was looking for. A CB wedge is just not a common sight in a sea of MB wedges. It took time for me to warm up to the appearance of the Cobra wedges, because they do look relatively bulky in the bag and at set up. But they are much more forgiving but you do sacrafice some feel. Honestly I really do not have the game to complain. The 56 degree with the Wide Sole just glides through sand. I have become very confident out of greenside bunkers, especially with fluffy sand. I am currently very happy with these wedges and to top it off they cost about $30 less per club compared to any of the big name wedges out there. I will be replacing my Cleveland BENI 60 degree soon with a Cobra. So if you are looking for a wedge that plays well from any lie and needs the forgiveness of a Cavity back, why not give the C series a try. They may not look like a conventional wedge but you'll get over that really quick. Most of us are using & swearing by cavity back irons, so why not CB wedges?

These are simply the best wedges I have ever played. They are long and straight on full shots and provide great spin. They are very forgiving. I had been playing a mixed set of wedges, a titleist DCI 50 degree, Nicklaus N1 56 and armour silver scott 60. I cannot believe just how good these cobra wedges are and how much they have changed my game. I have always been a decent wedge player but ince getting these wedges my short game and picked it up a notch or two or three. I would highly recommend these wedges to anyone, especially a weaker player who needs the advantage of forgiveness from a cavity back wedge. These are a great investment.
