Model Reviewed: Nickel Plasma 52* A Wedge

Picked this guy up off of eBay in search of a new wedge or two. Didn't think I would really like it cause I already own a nickel sand wedge and not real happy with it. I was curious of this one being a purespin and wondering what this "Plasma" meant and how it would perform without scuffing up the ball like the diamond faces do (From what I hear). I don't generally like wrapped grips but the purespin grip on this one fits and feels great. The shaft is purespin labled and no type of flex is printed on it. Approx. 35.5" from heel of club face. I'm assuming it's a generic "Wedge" flex like some others are doing these days. The "Plasma" appears to be some kind of spattered coating as if it was layed under a flame or Plasma cutter receiving the spray of molten metal OR it is in the cast itself. Not sure. Either way I like the concept and it's easy to see that the face will be much easier on soft golf balls. As far as how much spin it actually put on the ball It really didn't seem that much to me but it did stay where it landed (I was using Noodle Rotini). Spin wasn't MY biggest concern but how it felt and everything about it felt good. MUCH better than the nickel wedge I was previously using. I'm glad I tried this one out. I'm still trying others but this one is a keeper for me.
