I just purchased the 60 and 64 from GolfSmith, a great deal at $49. I'll probably change the grips and the club lengths, but my first impressions are quite positive. I've tried Carbite as well and they didn't feel as comfortable. Nice feel and they get the ball up and down well.

Model Reviewed: 58 deg. sand/lob wedge

No 58 degree wedge with only 8 degrees of bounce is that easy to use, but I do better with this than other sand/lob hibrids I've tried. It's a pretty good comprimise for those wishing that they could coax just a bit more shot-stopping control out of their sand wedge but don't want to deal with tempramental 60+ deg. lob wedges. But you'll probably still want a 52 to 54 degree ""gap"" wedge. If you've never before tried a wedge as lofted as 58 degrees, you may be surprised how tricky they are to use successfully. I watched a guy nearly dig his grave trying to get a ball out of a pot bunker using a Ram 58 degree wedge. After he finally gave up he said, ""Tom Watson makes it look so easy."" Yeah, right, but there's only one Tom Watson.
