this is an excellent club. the feel is solid off the face on full shots and chips. contact is great due to low level of bounce. it's a wonderful club; i'm happy i purchased it.

This club really spins. I am a young golfer who has a fast swing 100-110mph. I bought the 56 degree 12 bounce. I was able to spin the ball backwards each time I pulled it out of the bag. It really grabs the ball when you hit it. on shots 30 yards and further you can really notice it. It feels and looks great too. The only downside is that on full wedge shots you can sometimes scuff the ball which doesn't affect the performance very much but just pisses you off a little bit.

Model Reviewed: Taylor Made RAC Black TP Y-Cutter

Spin-Spin-Spin . . even if you have trouble spinning the ball on the green, this club will cure your problem. Your round buddies will want to know what you just hit when they see you ball backing up when it lands. Hey, there's a reason Retief uses this club on tour. The Y-Cutter grooves really catch the ball and Taylor Made is really onto something here. The ONLY drawback (no pun intended) is that the Y-grooves can chew up a soft covered ball like (the Pro V1) pretty quickly, but hey, backing your ball up near the hole a few times and you'll soon forget that. Try this club out if you get the chance.

Customer Service

Okay...once I wore out the grooves of my trusty Clevelands it was time for some replacements. I never hit the taylor made's before but got such a deal on ebay I just went with'em (both 56/60*)...and there has been no looking back. They have great feel, and control (it takes a few buckets to gage distances) but they spin, sit down, hit'em high, low whatever...they are cheap right now(ebay)...give'em a shot. Hey, you can play a few extra rounds with the money you saved. The gun metal finish makes'em lookers and when you starting hitting a couple stiff your playing partners will give them a second look...trust me they'll never see you coming with these.

I was using TM Chrome RAC's , but switched to the Black finish because on many occasions , the chrome RAC's simply produced too much glare from the sun for my liking. I love the feel , swing-weight , and eye appeal of the RAC's , not to mention the Dual-Draft groove design on the face for great spin. Now I can enjoy the RAC's even more because the glare is gone. These are good , solid wedges that perform well.

Customer Service

Never needed with wedges.
