You can't go wrong with Vokey wedges. I prefer the non spin milled version since I've found the spin milled to shave the sharp edges off of balls. While I have'nt tried too many of the newer wedges out right now,I will say I like the Vokeys better than Cleveland's CG10--the CG10's seemed more sole heavy and thus much less workable in terms of creative shot making. Perhaps the greatest testament to recomend Vokey wedges is the fact that many Tour players that have sponsorship with a manufacturer other than Titleist still choose to play Vokey wedges. Enough said.

Model Reviewed: 54.10 Spin Milled

The name of this wedge doesnt lie! I've seen friends with this wedge and witness the ball zip back so I finally got me a 54* Spin Milled SW. My ball striking has improved greatly the past few weeks so when I tried the wedge out on the course...i zipped one back off the green. Need to start landing a little farther behind the pin instead of next to it!!!

Model Reviewed: Vokey 60.04 Spin-Milled

I have played Pings for years but heard so much about the Vokeys, I wanted to try the spin-milled version, and wanted to add a 60 degree wedge. Wow, this is a beauty, and so glad I went with the 4 degree bounce. From 60 yards in, it's terrific for me. I can back it up too. This wedge does it all, glides thru tight lies like a charm. If you play out of deep rough mostly go with the stronger bounce but the 4 degree has worked great for me so far in every situation. What a great addition to my set of clubs.

The best wedges on the market. My 60 degree lob wedge is one of my favorite clubs, and when I get inside 100 yards, it is the only club for me. Weight and balance are spot on for me, and I can stop the ball dead in its tracks, or even pull it back on occasion. My short game is a lot better since putting this in the bag.

i am a believer. so far this is the only wedge that works for me. i tried out a few other and they look very similiar but don't even have the performance of this wedge. titleist describes me as a "digger". i have a steep chipping stroke and need more bounce, otherwise i chunk a lot of chips. the 2.56.14 skids across the turf much better than the others even with the same bounce. i was surprised that the other wedges with so much similar looks and specs where so different. to the eye, i can't notice any difference between the wedges but they sure have different performance characteristics. the only weakness i have found for me is that the weight is very heavy. i have gotten used to the weight for chipping, however full wedge shots from the fairway gives me inconsistent performance. i have a hard time with the direction and distance for partial and full wedge shots. but, for how many times i am chipping a round as opposed to having a 90 to 110 yard full sand wedge/ gap wedge shots, the wedge is worth it. another minor grip is the color of the satin chrome is difficult to align the wedge at the target. no clear straight line to match.

I am pretty much a die hard Titleist player and think they are the best made clubs in the world! I've played with other brands but always seem to come back to Titleist...and my wedges are no exception..By far the favorite part of the game of golf for me is the short game..if you have a short game that's on you can absolutely say you've had a great day of golf! I suppose that is why I love my Vokey wedges! They have produced some of the most exciting and memorable moments for me in this great game and I can't say enough about them! The feel of the club is like no other..the spin these clubs produce is unbelievable and they feel great when you execute the shot that you want! The finish is a tour chrome and they look really great in your bag! I've tried other wedges and there is no comparison..Being a biased Titleist fan my comments may taken as overly favorable but these are truly well crafted clubs and the fact that many pros play with these wedges says something about the workmanship...After playing with them for a while you realize these clubs are precision tools designed to improve your short game! Hats off to Titleist! Vokeys are the best!!

I bought this wedge sceptical as to how i would hit it but once i got on the corse i was connecting perfectly. On my first round of play with it on a par four i had missed the green, chipping on the rough lining the green and i holed it for a birdie, i knew from then on that i would love it. I have holed, or put it within inches so many times now that it has become normal. Once an aproach shot is made with this club a putter putting will not be something to stress over. I am only 14 and i hit this club so well, i can only imagine what it does for the pro's.

This is not a comparison review with similar equipment as I’ve only just started to use a specialist wedge and thought others might be in the same situation. I bought this club off eBay for a great price a while back but thought I wasn’t good enough to use. I kept it in the bag anyway. I was using my Ping Eye 2 sand wedge, which has a 53 deg loft, for just about everything around the greens.
Last week I thinned an approach shot and slammed it into the steep face of a bunker in front of the green, finishing at the bottom of the face. I needed more than my 53 deg sand wedge, more like a miracle. I was in trouble…my one shot lead, with only one more hole to play after this, was about to become a one shot deficit. The flag was around 20 feet away. Out came the Vokey. I took my time setting up the shot, slightly open stance, slightly open face for a little more loft. Short and not too steep a backswing (this club only has 8 deg bounce) and into the sand 2 inches behind the ball with an accelerating downswing and follow through. When I looked up I could see the ball very high up in a cloud of dust and sand. It landed 3 feet left of the pin and stopped dead. Tap in for par. Not just a lucky shot…I took the time to set it up properly. This is a real scoring club if you can use it. That takes know how and practice.
Maybe not a club for the high handicapper but if you’re at the point of taking your game up a level this is a great tool and will do the job for you. For me it’s in the bag to stay and I’ll use it much more from now on for all kinds of shots.

What an amazing set of wedges. Spin is second to none and once you get used to the weighting of the club, it's a beautiful thing. Great control, feel and accuracy. Recommend to anyone looking to take their short game to the next level.
