Was just wondering why all of these reviews sounded like they were written by the same person... Then I noticed that the Distributor of the product, Alex Moore has written his own review down at the bottom. Come on now...you don't expect us to drop $100 bucks on the basis of a few hyped reviews now do ya? Well, maybe if you have seen our infomercials you do:( $100 for a piece of carpet and a ramp? Who did your engineering, NASA? Mark

Of all the putting trainers, devices, etc on the market this is the best! I have had my boomarang for about six months now and can now drop 75% of my puts from 15 feet and 3 putting is very rare. I can line em up and judge the speed a lot better now. If you get tired of putting at one angle ajusted it and it''s like putting from a different distance. It even has a stimp meter built in, so if you know how fast the greens roll on your course you can adjust the boomarang to that same speed. The price might seem high but once you start dropping putts from all over the place it is well worth it. Don''t buy another expensive putter do yourself a big faver and buy the BOOMARANG A GREAT PRODUCT!!!

I have found the Boomerang has really helped with my putting. It has helped in a number of ways. It helps to build a consistent putting stroke that performs well under pressure. In addition it helps you hit putts with great accuracy and this allows you to putt with a purpose rather than hit and hope. I also found the video to be helpful but this is more like a home video than a professional production.

I was not sure about spending £39.99 on what is basically a 6ft length of cheap carpet and a plastic tray. My putting however was in dire need of a serious workout, therefore I was open to ideas. I have tried other similar devices such as Putt and Hazard, or ball return mechanisms but this is way way above anything I have tried before. My putts are now looking better and are at least on line and I have only been using this for about 3 days now. The real benefit is that you can use it anywhere and the ball returns silently to your feet. You can putt until your feet, back and hands are sore. Any putting device that is worth it's salt has to be difficult to do and addictive. This one is. My advice is to buy this product and despite the initial fears about the cost I think that it is worth the money as you get a lot of bang for your buck.

The video is of very low quality and is hardly worth the watch. The sound is pathetic and tells you nothing. So for that the value rating comes down a bit.

DON'T BUY A BOOMERANG!!!
I bought this product from the company's website about 7 months ago and my average putts per round are down from 37 to 30, and if it keeps up in 7 months time I hope to be down to scratch or better. I'd always been good at getting from tee to green but my putting was, well let's just say not all that. I wasn't too sure when I first set eyes on the simplistic appearance of the boomerang. It took me a couple of weeks to get to grips with it, but I read the instructions in the end and found that the product needed some setting up to get optimum perfomance from both it and myself.

So if I keep it up I may be even be a pro in a couple of years, so don't buy one, because I don't need the competition.

I paid sixty quid for mine, now its down to about 40 :(

Wow! What a fantastic way to practice and improve your putting. A friend of mine has had one of these Boomerangs for about 3 months and he was starting to putt me off the course! 12 one putts convinced me that I needed to find out how he had managed this incredible and swift improvement to his putting stroke.

He told me he had had the good fortune to hear some guy, whom we now know to be the inventor Alex Moore, giving a putting lesson. He was so impressed with the obvious benefits of this device he ordered one the very next day.

All I know is that he managed to lose 5 shots off his round over 3 months and his putting is just awesome.

I have been using mine now for anout 3 weeks and I already feel sure that I'll sink anything within 6 ft. I used to get the wobblies on anything below 6ft, now I ooze confidence because I'm certain I'll hit the hole.

Next thing I'm going to do is book a lesson with Alex Moore as I'm sure my putting can probably be improved even further.

Take my advice - get yourself one of these Boomerangs - you won't regret it!!

Customer Service

I ordered the product and it was delivered within 2 weeks. It contained concise information about the uses and setting up of the device. The web site has a ton of info and I'm totally impressed with the whole thing, which is suprising as I really thought that noone would ever invent a product that improves your putting - I was wrong...

I bought the Boomerang over the Internet last February - it couldn't have been easier and the product arrived on schedule. My main motivation for purchase was my appaling putting averages - more akin to that of a 28 handicapper than a 10 handicap golfer.

Though I have only used the product off and on over the last three weeks or so, I have found the Boomerang is already improving my averages. The key seems to be repetitive putting from a fixed position - almost impossible on a practice putting green. The lag putt particularly gives a good feel of pace and eventually you find yourself getting several lag-ins / strike outs in a row.
The one criticism I have of the product is that absolute accuracy in putting line is not essential to the lag putt - i.e. the ball gets to the hole even if you are off line.

Overall, however, the Boomerang definitely helps develop a consistent putting stroke. My wife (who is a 26 handicapper) also finds the Boomerang is greatly improving her putting. However, in my case I have a lot more practice to do before reaching my target of 30 or so putts per round.

Overall a good product and certainly well worth the money.

In my opinion, the Boomerang is the best putter trainer on the market today. Before using the Boomerang, my putt average was somewhere between 36 to 42. Since using the Boomerang for several months now, my putt average has dropped to 25 to 30 and still improving(now invent something to fix the rest of my game).
It's easy to set-up, pack or travel with. There's no reason why anyone can't practice putting anywhere they go. The Boomerang forces you to develop a steady repetitive stroke, a la "Lag it in" "Strike it out".
The new practice carpets are great. They are smooth, have good speed and are not slow, bumpy or too hard like indoor/outdoor type putting surfaces.
The only reason this product doesn't get a 5 star rating from me is the lack of a training video (I understand the plans for one are forthcoming). There is a certain technique the inventer has utilized to become an expert or "Professor of the Art", but this technique is hard to achieve or copy with just reading material. Of course you can always attend his training school in England. Also I would like to see ball marks or increment lines alone the putting surface of the carpet so you can place your ball exactly at the very same position each time you want to set-up after a session or a break. Overall, this is a must for the serious golfer.

Customer Service

Customer service is good considering they are located in England. I have talked with the inventor, Alex Moore on several occasions. He has answered all of my questions and has been very helpful. I would say that no one should have any hesitations about dealing with this company.

This device looks pretty ordinary and I would never have tried it except for the positive reviews here, but it is amazing. The genius of the device is that you do not actually put the ball in a hole, but through a shallow depression in the putting surface. The device is a little ramp. If your putt falls short, it rolls back to your feet. If you are a little long, it goes through the little depression of a hole and returns to your feet. If you hit is exactly right it hangs in the hole. On the next shot, if you hit the first ball squarely, they both return to your feet. A video comes with the machine and gives instructions. I bought the extra length roll of fabric that extends the putting surface to 12'. Since the slope of the little machine can be adjusted, putting from 12' can simulate much more.
I have used it for a couple of weeks, now, and my putting stroke has improved greatly as well as my distance control. Not only can I work the machine more skillfully, my putting on the course has greatly improved. I have many fewer three putts and feel very confident under 8 feet. This thing is better than it should be. Piece of plastic covered with felt, but it is amazing.

I had the good fortune to be shown this amazing product called the Boomerang. I have always been pretty good at golf but my putting was letting me down. After two weeks of continuous practice my putting prowess had literally doubled using the Boomerang. Round after round I reduced the number of putts I took by half. Now putting holds no fears for me whatsoever. I managed to obtain another Boomerang for my playing partner and he too has reduced his overall putting tally by approximately a third every round. The best aspect of the Boomerang is that you can hit about 5 or 6 putts a minute without moving from your original position therefore allowing you to adjust your setup accordingly. It is a tremendous training aid.

Customer Service

I was referred to their web site: www.boomgolf.com for everything to do with the Boomerang. It is quite impressive as web sites go. I received a really quick helpful response to my query and I was able to order one for my friend online.
