Can't believe all the years I played without one. I have back problems and never thought my traditional cart was compounding the problem. Once I switched the results were immediate. Walking is a joy once again and less tiring I might add. I would purchase one again immediately if something happened to mine. Very well made and sturdy construction. The only downside is the price, ouch. Really happy with this product, can't recommend it enough.

Great push cart. Pushes easy, folds up and stores in about the same space as a pull cart. Parking brake is easy to set and really holds the cart and bag, even on steep inclines. The tires are a pain to inflate if you use the pump, which they include with the unit. I used a regular air compressor with no problem, just be careful not to overinflate. Overall a great purchase.

I have a lot of trouble with my lower back. I have always rode when playing golf but a heart attack changed that. I have to walk now and I tested a lot of pull carts. My neighbor has one of the other brands and I know that his is not comparison to my Sun Mountain. If you need a cart, you owe it to yourself to spend the extra money and get the best. With the umbrella up I can play in the shade for most of the day. I have used it every day for 6 months and it is always ready. Thanks so much for making golf easy and fun.

I received this cart as a Christmas gift (right after the holiday from my wife) and was lucky enough, weather-wise, to be able to use it immediately. As a walker who's getting a little older I appreciate this cart for its ease of use. It doesn't roll along the course, it glides. For me, the best feature is the hand brake as you can park this cart anywhere and it won't budge. At the start, it was a little confusing to put together but after playing with the cart a couple of times, it's become a snap. It has some nice conveniences (beverage holder, umbrella holder) that are nice but the best thing about the cart is its balance and the minimal effort required to move it around the course. Thank you Sun Mountain for saving my shoulder, neck and back. I didn't realize how comfortable I could be after a round without having to carry a bag around for four hours. I recommend this bag to anyone who walks a course. I gave it a value rating of five stars as we were able to purchase the cart at a 30% off all merchandise sale. Otherwise, I'd give it four stars.

Customer Service

Excellent. An end cap split (don't know how, but it happened) and a new one was needed. It arrived via USPS in three days from Montana.

An older Bag Boy but all push carts available at Carolina Golf Center were tested/used with full sets loaded as a "test drive" and this one rolled best by far.

This cart is great! I like to walk, but the strain on my back from taking the bag off and on during a round was getting to me. I guess I am not 18 anymore. The cart rolls very smoothly. I bought the cool paq and it works great. I also used the umbrella holder stand in the rain and it worked well. The only problem that I could see was when you have the coolpaq loaded it throws off the center of gravity and the cart becomes a little top heavy. Also, when you have to lift the cart up (like going over curbs) sometimes the handle moves and you have to re-adjust it. Overall, I would highly recommend this product. I looked at several other carts out there, but none of them had all of the options that this one did. I shopped around and found a great price at Fiddlersgreen.com.

A few friends of mine had this cart and thus I've been looking to buy one for awhile. Until a recent sale at a local golf shop it had been priced no lower than $180. locally or online with shipping charges. I found it last week on sale and I love it. It pushes like a dream with no fatigue or strain like my old pull cart. Only problem I had was remembering to set its break on inclines. the ball bearings are so smooth it doesn't take much to see it rolling away from you when not braked. The next best thing to having a caddy. I think it was on sale because it's a 2003 model. The 2004 model has different straps, an umbrella holder and a tire pump. Maybe mine is a 2003 1/2 model for it came with the pump too.

One of the best golf accesories I own! I received one as a gift, and really started using it after straining my rotator cuff, after which putting a bag on my shoulders was somewhat painful. The cart rolls almost effortlessly, plus you have everything at your fingertips. It's very light with good tires that absorb bumps and brakes that work well. Unlike pull-carts, there is no shoulder or back strain. I also have the Cool-pac bag which is big enough for water and snacks. I recommend this to anyone looking for a cart - it's well worth the price. Save your energy for golf, not dragging a older, heavier pull cart.

This cart is great! I am only 14 and I play in alot of tournaments so it is very helpful. I live where it rains alot so the smooth ride isn't hard on the greens. When I purchesed this cart the store owner told me it was the best on the market(I agree). When it is hot like in the midwest where I play occasionally the Cool Paq(which I got for free)is great. I store some water or soda along with a sandwich and chips I can play all day.

I've had my Sun Mountain Speed Cart for nearly a year. I use it whenever the weather isn't severely hot here in Southern California. It really helps the cardiovascular fitness to walk 5-6 miles instead of riding. The ergonomics are a quantum leap better than a regular pull cart. I used to get a sore shoulder and/or lower back after using my old pull cart. The pushcart idea is so easy, I hardly know it's there, unless I'm going up a steep incline. The hand brake feature is really convenient vs. having to reach down with your foot to click the brake on the Bag Boy. The hand brake is also useful when going down steep slopes to slow the cart down so I don't have to pull back against it; I can keep it going my pace easily (not possible with a foot activated brake, I'd guess). The construction quality is excellent. The only minor gripe is that it doesn't want to track quite straight, but it really isn't a problem for normal use. If you are thinking of getting a hand cart, I'd strongly recommend the Sun Mountain Speed Cart; it costs more than a pull cart or the Bag Boy cart, but the extra comfort and convenience will make you a believer after a round or two. It has paid for itself already in a few months in reduced green fees vs. always using an electric cart.

What a great feeling to walk again!!! Having back problems for the past few years, I have been forced to golf using a power cart. Tried to walk using a pull cart, however still put quite a strain on my back. Not anymore. This push cart is effortless to push. First day with it walked 21 holes with no problem. Folds and unfolds easily. Can't imagine playing golf without it now. Buy one of these and enjoy golf even more walking.
