This bag is light and durable and has all the emenities necessary for the 15 to 20 handicapper. Even a place to put a pillow so you can cry after you drove your second attempt at a tee off into the woods. But seiously though, it is a winner. Datrek made a wise decision when they joined with Izzo because the 2 compliment each other very well.

Great bag! The 4 tier top and more than ample pockets will mean I won't be needing another bag for a very long time.

This bag makes it simple to organize your clubs and other belongings. It is very sturdy and even comes with 2 cigar holders.

Mine even came with a free shoe bag. Overall, well thought out and great valeu for money.

Model Reviewed: Datrek Tier 4 Cart Bag

Many here helped me decide, and so I add my two cents. I don't walk, I prefer an electric cart, and at the most I would use a pull or push cart. So I wanted a bag of size, that especially could hold my variety of clubs (12-13 usually- 9* Hawkeye Driver with graphite shaft, Steelheads woods with steel shafts, 4 wood, 7 wood, and 9 wood, and x-14 Callaway irons 6,7,8,9, PW, AW, SW, Oddysy putter (soon to be replaced by Dandy Blade IV).

I looked at everything and ultimately narrowed my choices to Taylor made (both regular and Deluxe cart bags) and the Datrek line. I like Taylor a lot, very thoughtful and attractive design. Their deluxe is a bit much though and no better for club carriage than many other smaller bags from a variety of companies. Datrek however, has an amazing array of bags at several price points. I went for the granddaddy, the Tier 4 inasmuch as I really appreciate the tiering at different height levels of their top- with well separateed dividers (4 main) and 15 club openings. The clubs are easy to find at differential height levels, never jam which was so key to my needs, and they have an amazing array of easy access pockets which are all accessible from the cart (well conceived layout based on the bag being in the cart).

Pockets are well designed so that it's easy to hide valuables, with enough discreet pockets for things like tees, gloves, and balls that make it easy to access at a moment's notice. There are two large lateral clothing pockets for rain gear , etc. I never carry shoes in my bag, but you could. The Teir four even has two cigar holder cases and slots to place them, as well as coming with a water bottle and a netting location to place it.

Their Tier 3, Expedition, UFO 180 line are all nice variations on this theme and any would have been more than adequate and little cheaper. ON the net you can get this bag for $169, shipping free, and they throw in a nice shoe bag as well (try www.TGW.com).

I've had the Tier 4 for a month now and love it. Finally decided that I didn't need a carry bag if I was going to use a pull cart or ride so I looked for one with plenty of room for clubs and whatever else I want to stuff in the pockets. The Datek Tier 4 is great. My clubs no longer get tangled up and I have more that enough poskets. I opened one the other day and discovered that I still had packing paper in it.
