First bag purchase. It worked superbly (5'10, 170 lbs) after some pretty serious adjusting. I owned the bag for two plus years and hadn't had any problems until recently. I don't know how long the average bag should last (as this is my first). On a particularly warm day, I reached for the handle of my bag to pull it out of the trunk of my car and I ripped the handle clean off. I'm no bruiser, but have historically been fairly rough on my gear (all sports). 2 years isn't too bad, I guess. Love the Schling, definitely not for a bulky build. I'm no stick, but I'm certainly not muscle bound.

Customer Service

Unfortunate experience with customer service. I wouldn't say bad, just unfortunate. I called and discovered that their warranty is good for one year (it seems it should be guaranteed for a little longer than that). So i was pretty much told that there was nothing that could be done and to have a nice day and sorry and bla bla bla. He was polite though. Like i said: unfortunate, but not bad.

I have nothing but GREAT things to say about the Ogio Shling System. For one I HATE the backpack style of bag, difficult to get into and out of. I can see if you are a very large person the problems one could encounter. The bag is unbeleivably easy to put into place and take off, just as easy as a single strap bag. The bag sits in the perfect spot so you are not having it slap you in the back every step you take. The Shling distributes the weight evenly making it seem like you are carrying less weight. It most deffinately cannot fit all body types so try one on before you buy. I am 5'-10" 215 lbs and it fits me perfectly.

Model Reviewed: Ogio Vision SS Schling Carry Bag

This is by far the most UNCOMFORTABLE bag I have ever used. I could not wait to get this bag. The bag looks great has amazing storage and variety of pockets but the SCHLING IS A JOKE. It must be designed for 130 pound high school kids. I have broad shoulders and no matter how I adjust he SCHLING it digs into my traps and hurts my shoulders before I finish walking to my first drive. I have several friends who tried to carry my bag for a few minutes and hated it. This bag is great for a golf cart and the SCHLING is very conenient for short distances, but as far as walking an entire round I would wrather carry my clubs by the handle than have this OX HARNESS digging into my shoulders for 3-4 hours. The padding is way to narrow and thin, unless you are built like a tooth pick and have no muscle mass at all. There are many great features on this bag I do like such as the strap on the bag to secure to the back of the golf cart, which prevents your clubs from falling on the ground should the strap on the cart fail(which we have all experienced or seen). The soft valuables pocket is nice, as is the zipperless ball pocket and the water bottle cooler pocket is in perfect postion so you dont have to reach for it. The only complaint I have is the SCHLING carrying system that they hype up on their web sight. I purchased this product believing the hype and ended up haveing to dish out even more money to buy push cart because it hurts my shoulders so much to carry my clubs with this bag. If you buy an OGIO bag make sure you dont get one with the SCHLING. I also heard this bag is only available on line because it did not fair well with the test market.

Customer Service

Never used but I might call and see if they can offer a differnt type of strap system to fit this bag. Just add some wider and thicker padding and you should have a winner.
