Let me put this delicately. TURN AND RUN. This is the worse bag I have ever owned. Crossover is not a good term. It is kinda in the middle of everything. It looks great and the idea behind a crossover is great but the performance is not so good.

There is not handle on the back spine to pick the bag up. The putter weld runs directly in the middle of one of the storage bags. There aren't any rings on the bag to hang things like gloves, extra towels, or other accessories.

The bag is not constructed for walking. The putter weld digs into your back when you put it on

The bottom of the bag is too big to fit into a normal cart. You have to turn the bag side ways to keep it on the cart.

This was a mistake on my part.

The MPB is a good blend between cart and carry bags. I think it is best suited to the cart user who likes to hit the range and walk occassionally (and that is how it is marketed).

It is a bit heavier than my other stand bag, but here is where the MPB wins out. The 14 individual dividers keep my clubs from binding up. I had to switch to oversize grips and constantly found myself having to shove my clubs in the bag. I bought those plastic tubes, and that did not work well either.

None of that is a problem with the MPB. My clubs glide in and out.

Not a tremendous amount of storage, but there is enough. There is one pocket that is impacted by the putter well tube, so you cannot get a lot in there. The insulated pocket is well done, as is is the storage capability for the stand.

So how does the MPB stack up? Very well in terms of ease of club access, functionality, and quality. If the binding of clubs is not a concern for you, I would also suggest looking at the OGIO Edge. For me, it came down to those two but I got the MPB for the dividers.

A good idea the bag is really to shade to heavy to carry (esp. when it gets hot here in Texas). I bought it to take to the driving range as needed, okay for that, put planned to use it on thier own speed cart....and the MPB does not fit worth a darn on thier own cart!

So my bag is a stay at home and holds my extra clubs, too.

Bought the ES for walking and use it all the time now.
