BEING A BEGINNER I TRIED TO NOT FALL FOR ALL OF THE HYPE ABOUT... LOOKED AT MANY DIFFERENT MODELS AND FELT BANG FOR THE BUCK THIS BAG IS GREAT. I PICKED UP THE 2000 MODEL AT A GOOD DISCOUNT. EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE, WELL BALANCED AND COOL COLORS TO BOOT. MY SECOND CHOICE WAS THE CALLAWAY DAY TRIPPER. I FELT THE STAND MECHANICS WERE MORE SOLID ON THE SUN MOUNTAIN. LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING HOW IT HOLDS UP LONG TERM.

Excellent carry bag for me, I prefer to walk and play about 3 times per week. Very handy bags, and the Izzo straps are mucho comfortable. Stand works easily and well, much better than previous Sun Mtn. bag.

Excellent replacement from previous Eclipse bag from Sun Mountain. The redesigned stand makes it easier and more efficient to use. Top cuff lined with ""fur"" for shaft protection. Lots of storage space. Very light. Highly recommend this bag!

Nice light bag that works well for walking or cart. Stand mechanism is very easy to use. The removable pouches are a nice feature - you don't have to leave your valuables with your bag outside the clubhouse. Plenty of storage, including some fur-lined pockets for watches, glasses, etc. I bought the model with the Izzo double strap system, which is really comfortable for walking. Since I usually ride, and only haul the bag short distances, I ended up taking one of the straps off to make it easier to shoulder/unshoulder quickly. The straps are so wide and well padded that it is still very comfortable. The club handles tend to clump at the bottom of the bag, making them difficult to pull out - a problem I saw with almost all the bags I demoed. Also wish there were a couple small pockets near top of bag for tees and assorted other stuff I would like to get at quickly while on the course.
