This company really did a great job of selling a three piece distance ball and marketing as a "tour level ball for slower swing speeds". I really like the ball -flies staight and long (much longer than a real tour ball- pro v1, cally ix) but as I said before, that is because this is a distance ball. The thing won't spin at all! If you are a hack and want to say you play a tour ball this is the ball for you. But I personally think that this ball is not worth the $42.99 price tag.

Started playing this ball about a year ago, probably due to Bridgestone's clever advertising to players like me, ie someone who couldn't swing >105 mph with the driver if I tried. My more honest driver swing speed is in the mid-90s, and just as advertised, this ball does great for me. Everyone's different, for sure, but for me, this ball is as complete a package as there is out there. I have tried a bunch of other balls (see below), but they either were depressingly short off the tee (Pro V1x, Nike One Tour D), scuffed too easily (TM Penta and TP Black, Callaway Hx Bite), felt like rocks off the putter (e6+), or around the greens (PD Soft, e5+). I wish it cost just a little less, but other than that, it's a really nice ball that I'll be sticking with this coming season...

long time user of PRO V1, my favorite golf shop owner suggested that I try the bridgestone B330 RW. At first I thought I was just having an unusually good day, but the ball continued to fly much further than usual with terrific spin control around the green. Without comment I gave a sleeve to a friend, also a PRO V1 user and suggested he try them. Two days later he whispered to me: "I am out driving everyone and feel like I can control this ball with any iron." I have switched permanently.

Just about the same feel as a Titleist ProV1, but goes a bit further. Just bought my second box and will continue to play them as they suit my 90mph swing speed better than the Titleist.

I found a Tour B330rx and used it after hitting a ProV1x out of bound. I was surprised to see my drive go higher and longer, straight too. My iron shot were just unbelievable and I never miss a green on par 3s and on second shots par 4 & 5. Iam going to try this ball again and see if this great surprise happens again. I'll let you know if its the ball or the combination of a swing adjustment I just made.

Got one of these the other day from the pro shop to give a try. I am very impressed with this ball. It is long and straight off the driver and spins well off the irons. The thing that impressed me the most was hte feel around the green. It has a softer feel than other premium balls which I prefer. It feels awesome off the putter and checks up nicely on chips and pitches. It says it's designed for slower swing speeds but I'm up over 105mph with the driver and I hit this longer than either of the other B330 balls. I also like the new Srixon Z-Star but I think this just shades it as the best ball on the market. They are decent value to for a premium ball. In Aus they are about $15 a box cheaper than the Pro Vs, for a superior product IMO. And the durability makes them even beter value.

These golfballs are the best I have ever hit. Soft, solid, long. Big advantage: they keep intact! I have filled out the fitting tool on the Bridgestone website (very nice tool) and ended up with this golfball. It's been designed for amateur players with a certain swingspeed like mine.

Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

Like most of you reading this review, I was excited to try this ball ever since I first heard about it. I finally shelled out the $42 for a dozen to give them a try. I love low to mid compression balls and I've tried them ALL. My current ball is the original solo, but I wasn't really happy with it, I just found it to be the most consistent and easy to hit off my irons, but I was making sacrifices around the green and off the driver and hoped this ball would be the magic bullet. No such luck. Off the driver it was lower hitting than the solo and no longer. On my irons it was a push, sometimes feeling a bit too firm for my taste. Around the greens and putting it was a definite improvement, but not enough to justify the price. HOWEVER, I have found the ball that I had hoped the 330-RX would be - the new Nike One Vapor. It's way less $$, goes further off the tee, has awesome trajectory and that sweet 3-piece feel off my irons and is just as good as the RX around the greens and putting. I know the RX is supposed to be a urethane cover and the Vapor isn't, but I can't tell a difference, they feel the same when playing and even feel the same in the hand. Part of the reason is that the RX cover is not nearly as soft as a Pro V1. Also, my driver swing speed is 93. If your considering the RX, save yourself some $$ and try the Vapor instead. The only slight downside to the Vapor is that it spins quite a bit off all of my irons, great on good shots as it makes them fly high and land soft, but if you slice or hook the ball off your irons, this ball is going to make it worse vs something like the so/lo. This has caused me to miss a few greens that I would have caught with a so/lo, but the improved feel, especially around the greens, is worth it. Off the driver it appears to spin slightly more, but not enough to cause big issues and remember, average swing speed players actually need spin off the driver to a certain degree to maximize distance.

Model Reviewed: 2009 Cleveland Launcher Driver

Went to a Cleveland Demo Day intending to try wedges but was very impressed with the Launcher driver and hybrid. Purchased the driver (along with free hybrid) a week later. I had been playing a 2009 Burner and an Adams XTD A3 square driver, both of which are excellent. Main difference between Burner and Launcher is that I have a bit of a tendency for my usual draw to turn into a hook with the Burner and I get a more penetrating flight and more roll with the Launcher (I probably pick up 8-12 yards over the other drivers). Also, the Launcher is very traditional in appearance.Since the Burner flies higher (all three drivers are 10.5), probably because of the shaft, I will use it on courses requiring forced carries and the Launcher otherwise. Incidentally, the Launcher hybrid is long, and easy to hit high off grass or tee (and I am a senior player with a relatively low swing speed).

Customer Service

Rep at demo day was very helpful. Cleveland customer service has been helpful to me in the past when I inquired about wedges.

Before this ball I would never pay 40$ a doz. My car has 200,000. My clubs are second hand. Free golf is my goal in life. The local pro gave me a FREE sleeve to try. Thanks alot Bill. I can't live without this ball. This ball does not spin off the driver. It is strait and very long. It reacts totally diferant with the irons. I can take dead aim at the pin. The ball spins right back to my ball mark. It's like your playing two diferant balls. No spin and amazing distance with your driver. Perfect spin and consistent distance with all your iorns. Try this ball!
