my swing speed is rated at 82-85, mite be able to sneek out a drive to 200-210 on a good day down wind,so distance is not a problem.the ball spins well with iron shots and good feel off the putter.

After a lot of trial and error with a number of brands. I spent the last two years playing the Bridgestone 330S. And have been reasonably happy with the results. And this was despite the manufactorers swingspeed recommendation of 105+ (mine is 98 MPH. However the release of the RX ball with the apparent swing speed rated between 95-105 was too good a chance to miss.

Distance with the longer clubs is a little longer good with a noticeable narrower dispersion. However, the mid irons appear to be coming up a shorter than I am used too. The results with the short irons and wedges around the green are just as good, if not better (for me at least) as the 330S with good check on chips and a nice level of spin on pitches.

I like to have a soft feel off the putter face and this ball fits the bill.

If you don't lose your ball you can expect it to last a round unless you have a bag full of sharp edged irons.

I'm not saying this ball will knock several shots off your regular score. But I feel confident that it will certainly improve mine.

Cost is a factor, but you can't a champagne quality with lemonade money.

Customer Service

Not needed. However Bridgestone golf balls are not as regularly available in the UK as some other brands. A shame.

I recently purchased a sleeve of B330 RX on a recommendation from a retailer. On the first use I recorded my lowest ever score. Off the driver the ball did not have as much side spin as others I have used. Distance was great for a 105MPH driver SS. The greatest bonus for me was that the ball did not spin too much (PROV1), and had a nice feel around the greens. After 18 holes the ball was not scuffed and could still be used, considering all of the above I will be using this ball for the near future.

I recently took out several balls. To see what kind of distance I could get. The RX performed well for me. Giving me comparable distance to the Callaway ix, out performed the B330-S, and beat out the Pro V1 in distance. Though the Pro V1 stands alone when hitting into the green. Pro V1 beats everyone there. But overall, I'm sticking to the RX for a while.

I must say that I'm a little disappointed with this ball. My swing speed is in the neighborhood of 95-100 mph and was expecting a little more distance off the tee. I feel that this ball is not any longer than 330 or 330s and shorter than the e6+ and Treosoft.

I haven't tried the new e7+ yet but plan to.

All in all I felt the ball played very similar to the e6+ but at twice the price.

My current favorite Bridgestone ball is the Treosoft. Twenty yards longer than the 330-rx and still plays solidly around the greens.

I spent $42.00 on the RX's and feel that is to much for just an average ball.

Maybe the e7+ will be more suited for my game. I tend to be a high ball hitter.

I was looking for ward to this product, and was greatly disappointed. My swing speed is 90 to 95 mph with the Driver. These balls tend to cause a stronger fade and seemed harder than the Pro V1. The distance may have been similiar, but around the greens from 100 yards in they could not compare. At 42 dollars a box I do not see the bargain nor the comparison to the Pro V.

Thought I'd try the RX, had good luck with E6 and B330S in the past. Bought a sleeve of RX, because $42/doz. is outrageous. Bought some new E7's also to compare. Felt OK, plenty soft, but this ball is not for me. The B330 and E6 tend to soften my fade, this RX accentuates it. NO THANKS. Putts fine by the way. BTY, the E7 had great distance for me and putted really well...oh yeah, the E7 is half the price of the RX.

Model Reviewed: B330 RX

I just picked up a sleeve of these Bridgestone B330RX and played with them last weekend. I was pleasantly surprised. Bridgestone designed these balls as a cross between the tour balls (B330) and the recreational balls (e5, e6). The concept was to give golfers with average swing speed more distance off the tee by using a softer core while providing Pro V1 like green side control and spin. The B330 RX has a Urethane cover as does the Pro V1. Based on my play it looks like Bridgestone hit a home run. With my swing speed of 90-95 MPH, I was hitting the B330 RX approximately 10-12 yards further than my current favorite, the Pro V1. I shoot in the high 70’s and low 80’s. Around the green I could not tell the difference between the Pro V1 and the B330 RX. I played two rounds with the same ball with hardly any signs of wear. The price might be a little high at $42.00 USD per dozen. But over all I would recommend this ball to the “Wanna-Be” players that are good but just do not have tour like swing speed.
