Bridgestone Precept MC Lady Balls

Bridgestone Precept MC Lady Balls

DESCRIPTION

From Precept Golf: "What could possibly cause a man to ever hit a lady? A Precept MC Lady golf ball, that is. How about extra distance off the tee and with the irons? How about wind-boring trajectory and incredible feel? All of these reasons have caused male golfers across the country to discover the Precept MC Lady golf ball, a ball originally designed for women but one that has gained widespread acceptance by male golfers of all ages and handicaps as a ball with incredible distance and soft feel." "...It's a phenomenon!"

I found a Precept Lady in good shape, and gave her a tryout. HA! I play Precept balls(Extra spin & Premium), but I just don''t get this Lady thing! It still feels like a distance ball to me. So, that said, why not play a true distance ball if that is what your game requires? There are longer balls out there. If you want real spin, play the Extra Spin or Premium. Need something in between, try the Tour Advantage. But why the lady?????????

I had some free time on one long par 5 and was able to tee up a Pro V1, Pinnacle Titanium Distance, Callaway CB1 Red, and the Lady to see which ball would fly longer. The normal drive for me is between 270 and 285. In order, from shortest to longest it was the CB1 Red, Pro V1, Titanium Distance, and the Lady. The Titanium Distance and the Lady were only separated by 5 yards but I now play the Lady because of the softer feel. I was unable to adapt my short game to the Pinnacle. The Lady seems to have a higher ball flight but appears to handle well in the wind.

I found this ball to be great with my iron and fairway wood shots, but terrible off the tee. I generally hit my driver 270-280. I was around 240 with the Lady. However, my three wood off the fairway I generally hit about 210-220. With the Lady I was in the 230-240 range. Not sure why this is. Very Strange. I will play the remaining balls I have left from dozen I bought and not buy again. This ball is designed for a slower swing speed. I think I may swing my driver to hard for this ball??????

These are the greatest balls I have ever hit. Super long off the tee, and extremely soft around the greens. These balls easly added 15-20 yards off the tee for me. They were excellent for attacking the pin as well, could stick it on the green with confidence. Once on the green they were also a pleasure to put. Only two downsides though, first they say "Lady" not too many guys can feel confident playing a women''s ball. Secondly others must feel the same about the ball as I do because it is very hard to find a store with them in stock.

This ball performs as designed and as most of the reviewers portray. Sidespin is reduced and this helps you stay in play even with the extra yards. The trajectory allows the ball to drop onto the green and sit. Every hit with driver through putter feels absolutely wonderful! I’ve dropped two clubs because of this ball. I use to use a 6-iron from 150 now I use an easy 8-iron. One club I attribute to the ball, the other club I attribute to the best aspect of the ball: the confidence it affords. In the two months I’ve been using the ball I went from consistent mid-nineties to consistent upper eighties. Funny thing is that I’m a better putter when I’m more often putting six footers for pars than for bogies.

It is not similar, but I used primarily Titleist SF. Tried many others before settling.

Let's face it. For us average guys a ball doesn't make THAT much difference. I've played the ProV1 and it's a great ball. Though I can afford it, I can't justify it. Same thing for Professionals and Strata Tour Pros and ........well, the list of expensive premium balls goes on and on.

I bought a box of Lady's for my wife and, on a whim, grabbed a sleeve for myself. This is a really good ball! I'd read all the hype and talked to a few guys that had played it, and, while I believed what I heard, yesterday I saw what I believed.

It's 5-8 yards longer off the driver. 3 and 5 wood shots were considerably longer. Unfortunatly, I blew it over a couple of greens with shot irons and wedges 'cause it is that much longer. While I didn't see tremendous spin, it does drop and stop and it putts softly. (I hit a high ball so most balls actually drop and stop for me. I did spin the ProV1 more, actually backing a few off the green. Did I mention the $48 price?)

Best of all it's durable--one ball, 18 holes and I cleaned it, put it back in the sleeve with the other two and handed them to my wife. $20. I didn't really score any better, but it's the best of all worlds at a really good price.

easily 5-10 yards longer for someone with an average swing speed around 90-95. Nice flight with woods and long irons. Is a bit of a knuckle ball with mid-short irons but the soft feel putting makes up for it some. Still it cranks me off when I hit hot through some greens with it. Great value and good ball.

A friend recommended this ball to me.
At first I thought my friend was trying to play a joke on. I proceeded to shoot the lowest round (88) I have ever shot and won $25.00 my friend. It's true guys this ball is a true lady to your game.

these balls are very good, a mishit drive of mine landed at 260 and rolled to 310!!! My normal sand wedge is 110, with this baby its up to 130-140, not that I want it to go that far, but it soars really really high and lands right where it hits. To tell you the truth this is the same type ball as the PROV1, both of these balls are lowecompression around 80, I think that the lady is even less, and both of these balls fly super super high and eneable them to stop quickly due to the angle of their decent. Also these balls have good feel and durability. All in all these are very good, surprisingly, just swing easy and they will go!! make clean contact and you'll notice that you will hit the same distance with your distance rocks with a 65% swing with the lady, as a 100% swing with the rocks! Please try them! awesome balls.

I've tried other Precepts and never really liked them. But I HAD to try these. I was playing Stratas and liked them. A pro told me about the Ladys. I did some research (on this site and others) and decided to try a dozen. WOW! Added an easy 20 yards to my irons. Just for the record, I was hitting my 5-iron 180yds. Now I'm hitting 200+. More importantly, these balls seem to complement my irons (Cobra Gravity Backs with stiff graphite) very nicely. The one problem I've had with these irons is consistency with distance. Off-center hits still go 90% of normal distance, while a sweet-spot hit can fly an additional 20-30 yards. Not inspiring when your swing is improving, but NOT QUITE THERE...

I do have to swing a little more easily with my metalwoods though, as these low compression balls seem to lose a little when struck hard by a big chuck of titanium.

The Precept Ladys really seem to tame the flyers. I don't know why, but in the four rounds I've played with them, they just work. Side spin reduction is superb. Good feel with the wedges. Lots of controllable, predictable (iron) distance, and great trajectory (fly high, drop soft).

Besides, when I see the look on my foursome's faces when I tee up the Lady on a 180yd. par 3 and drop a 7-iron right next to the flag...Priceless!
